StrayaDayZ Game Mode License (SDZ-NR)

Version 1.0 — March 2026

This license governs the use of all StrayaDayZ (SDZ) game modes, mods, scripts, assets, maps, and associated content released by the StrayaDayZ Development Team.

Definitions,

“Work” means the StrayaDayZ mod, including all original files, scripts, assets, configurations, maps, and future updates released by the Author.

“Author” means the StrayaDayZ Development Team.

“Derivative” means any modification, adaptation, transformation, fork, repackaging, or use of SDZ content in another mod or server framework.

Official Server Status,

StrayaDayZ is an independently developed project.

There is only ONE official StrayaDayZ server operated directly by the SDZ Development Team.

Any other server claiming to be “official” without written authorization is in violation of this license.

Permission Requirement,

You are permitted to:

Download and use the Work for personal gameplay.

Host the Work on a server only with prior written permission from the Author.

You are NOT permitted to:

Host, modify, redistribute, or package the Work without explicit written approval from the SDZ Development Team.

Use SDZ assets as a dependency for another mod.

Repackage SDZ content into a separate project.

Claim ownership or authorship of SDZ content.

Rebrand SDZ assets under another server name.

No implied permission is granted.

Discord Membership Requirement,

All approved servers and authorized users must:

Be a member of the official StrayaDayZ Discord.

Remain in good standing within the SDZ community.

Failure to maintain membership may result in immediate license revocation.

Derivatives & Modifications,

NO DERIVATIVES without written approval.

This includes but is not limited to:

Editing scripts or core files.

Rebalancing systems for redistribution.

Extracting assets for use in other projects.

Creating forks or modified versions.

Re-uploading modified builds.

Minor configuration adjustments for approved servers may be permitted at the discretion of the Author.

Monetization,

Monetization involving SDZ content is strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved in writing by the SDZ Development Team.

This includes:

Paid access

Pay-to-win features

Donator-exclusive gameplay advantages tied to SDZ content

Ownership,

The Author retains full ownership and copyright of the Work.

This license grants limited usage rights only and does not transfer intellectual property ownership.

Termination,

Any breach of this license results in immediate termination of usage rights.

Upon termination:

The Work must be removed from all servers.

All copies must be deleted.

Server permissions may be revoked.

Violations may be reported to relevant platforms (Steam Workshop, Bohemia Interactive, hosting providers).

Liability,

The Work is provided “as is” without warranty.

The Author is not responsible for:

Server incompatibility

Conflicts with third-party mods

Data loss

Technical issues arising from misuse

Updates to This License,

This license may be updated at any time.

Continued use of the Work constitutes agreement to the most current version.

 Host it with permission.

 No unauthorized use.

 No forks.

 No rebranding.

 No derivatives without approval.
