Short Nights

Tired of spending half your session fumbling in the dark?
Short Nights compresses the night cycle to ~25% of total
experienced time — keeping the atmosphere, tactics, and
immersion intact, without the frustration.
Unlike full night-skip mods, the sun still sets and rises
naturally. Only deep night passes faster — twilight and
sunrise/sunset transitions run at full vanilla speed,
so the lighting change is completely smooth and natural.

4-hour real-time day cycle (balanced for active servers)
Twilight zones protected — no flickering at sunrise/sunset
Deep night accelerated only, transitions stay smooth
Dynamically adjusts to season (shorter nights in summer,

Settings can be adjusted via Workbench scene editor.
Recommended for public and mixed servers.
For hardcore milsim, try 30% (edit SN_NIGHT_FRACTION in Workbench).
