Summary
Player-driven zombie ecology and gameplay integration for FM Survival using Project Outbreak.
Description
BlackReign FM-Outbreak is a server-side compatibility and gameplay integration patch built for the BlackReign survival server. It combines FM Survival with Project Outbreak zombies and provides a custom player-driven ambient zombie ecology across Everon. Features:
• Zombies populate towns, villages, farms, roadside buildings and secluded POIs when players are nearby.
• Multiple nearby locations can spawn independently — not just the nearest town or spawnpoint.
• No forced map-wide zombie population or artificial per-player/town zombie quota.
• Ambient groups use current Project Outbreak zombie types and mixed compositions.
• Civilian, Military, Heavy and Horde encounter profiles.
• Nephilim integration with natural Heavy-group appearances and population preference logic.
• Nightingale special encounter support with global de-duplication and cooldown.
• Separate noise-based zombie reinforcement using Project Outbreak.
• Independent per-location lifecycle, depletion and respawn handling.
• Player-presence cleanup prevents abandoned zombie groups from accumulating across the map.
• Designed to coexist with FM Survival, DARC AI and STW cleanup systems. BlackReign focuses on creating a more natural survival experience: areas become dangerous when players explore them, fights can attract additional infected, and abandoned locations eventually return to a dormant state. Built specifically for the BlackReign server environment.
