Community Radar #19

Welcome to the latest Arma Reforger Community Radar, or as we also call it, #COMRAD. We're excited to showcase another fantastic community content for everyone to enjoy. Let's jump into it!

COM-ART

We start this edition on the eastern mountain cliffs of Everon, where Rexin captures some beautiful shots overlooking the coast, west of Perelle Bay. The more you explore the island, the more hidden gems like this one you’ll discover. Thanks to Rexin for highlighting such a scenic spot. We can’t wait to see where others show off next!

Captured mid-fire, in this image, you can almost feel the overpressure from this M1 Abrams tank, modded and brought to life by SpaceStrider. Imagine having this thing as your support on the field. We love those who highlight community creations like this, so big thanks to Sea_ram7 for the incredible screenshot!

Throwing it back to the Arma 2 days, these screenshots give us that classic aesthetic look using the Cold War Colour mod created by EO. We love the style, and it's also from the creator of the new Armavision Enhanced mod, which adds a suite of visual tools like tilt shift, various vignettes, and vintage-style filters. If you've been thinking about trying in-game photography, give it a whirl. Until then, we look forward to more images like this in the future.

This set of incredible images captures the warmth and glow of an Everon sunset cutting through the foggy evening over Morton. The atmospheric look is fantastic; one shot even features the familiar LAV-25 bathed in the golden light. We liked it so much we had to feature it. Beautiful work all around, and credit to Egriek for sharing these.

If you’re running a server and want a more immersive and persistent world, RealTimeSync by DeathHarmony is worth checking out. This server-side mod syncs the in-game time (and optionally date and location) to real-world UTC. This means you can create a true day/night cycle that mirrors real time. It supports time zone offsets and geographic coordinates via a simple JSON config file. This is perfect for servers focused on realism or even long-term campaigns. Very cool!

Speaking of saving time, if you're looking for more control over your administrative toolset, then GM Tools by Hovi is worth looking at. It adds options like player rank control, pop-up notifications, sending player warnings, Discord alert integration, and more. This is all managed through simple chat commands and a JSON config. Whether you're organizing community nights or managing a chaotic public server, this mod could potentially help keep things running smoothly. Just install it on the server, edit the JSON configuration, and you’re good to go!

Now that you've got the tools and the time, you can also spice up your sessions with some dynamic scenarios! DarcMissions by Darc is a mission framework mod that randomly spawns objectives across the map with no setup required. Just enable the mod (and its dependencies), and you'll find yourself taking on patrols, evading AI hunters, ambushing convoys, looting crash sites, and clearing out occupied buildings. Whether solo or on a server with friends, it’s a great way to add variety and replayability to your gameplay. You can also tweak mission behavior via configuration files. You can find more info and customization options on the DarcMods GitHub, or follow updates and progress in the Arma Discord.

Of course, you need a place to play these scenarios. Well, long-time terrain maker and community veteran Temppa is back at it again, but this time bringing Southern Ostrobothnia, Finland, to life. Known for their popular Arma 3 maps and contributions to CDLC terrains, Temppa’s work again shows off the Enfusion engine’s capabilities with rich detail and wonderful, realistic environments. It’s still a work in progress, but if history is any indicator, this is a terrain to keep a close eye on. We can’t wait to see how it ends up. In the meantime, you can explore their other Reforger maps Anizay and Gogland on the Workshop.

Once you're running around, why don't you try moving things around physically? With the UAB Move Terrain Objects by Shelestov, this mod lets players pick up, drag, rotate, and toss most vanilla terrain objects using physics-based interaction. This is perfect for creative base-building, barricades, or just goofing around in creating something. With support for handheld and heavy objects, this adds a whole new layer of tactical options or creative fun. While still work in progress, it's impressive to see what the community can create to expand the game's features.

COM-OPS

If you're new to Arma Reforger, looking to learn new skills, or need help troubleshooting, TPM Tactical is a fantastic website resource with guides, tutorials, and tips. Created by an Aussie military veteran and longtime Arma fan, the site aims to support all players, whether you're learning the basics, trying modding, or diving into advanced tactics. There are plenty of written and video guides to help you with all things Reforger. We appreciate TPM for putting this together.

If you’ve ever wanted to dip your toes into cinematic storytelling in Arma, community veteran Ceb Cin has you covered. He recently streamed a detailed, step-by-step tutorial on creating Armachinima using the Workbench tools for Arma Reforger. Whether you're just curious or ready to try it for yourself, this guide is a great place to start.

COM-VIDEO

If you need proof that creativity doesn’t need fancy gear, HOUSE CALL by Nightfall Pictures delivers. This intense cinematic was filmed entirely on PlayStation 5 using the in-game Armavision mode, with real players, and edited on a phone - yes, really. Despite limited tools, the result is an impressively choreographed short film that’s well-scripted, atmospheric, and surprisingly polished. Definitely worth a watch.

If you’re into immersive cooperative operations and coordinated squad tactics, this video is a must-watch. Dizz leads a full-force U.S. assault on the Chotain coastal base. It really showcases the potential of large-scale teamwork and intense firefights in Reforger.

If you're into intense firefights and solo domination, this one's got your name on it. JereZiii unleashes chaos with a PKM on a modded W.C.S. server, cutting down enemies amid nonstop explosions and gunfire. It's filled with satisfying moments of ambushes and firepower. Definitely worth a watch.

In this close-quarters chaos, Ascendancy delivers an absolutely incredible run during a relentless push on a sawmill. It's nonstop action, and even includes an exciting rescue attempt. We've all seen our share of crazy CQB moments in Reforger, but this would certainly get your heart pumping. What could you do with another 1000 hours?
