Modding has always been a key part of the Arma series, even dating back to Arma: Cold War Assault, providing a creative haven for community-made content. Now players from all available platforms can join a modded server and immerse themselves in the full Arma Reforger experience. But where do you start? The options can be overwhelming to a newcomer. To help you get started, we've put together a small list of interesting modded servers, in no particular order, to show just a glimpse of the variety of experiences Arma has to offer.

Sieze & Secure
Game Mode: Mixture of Conflict and Capture & Hold
Setting: Cold War
Mod storage: <200 MB
Region: US
Sieze & Secure is a reimagining or fusion of Conflict and Capture & Hold with adjusted mechanics such as suppression, squad cohesion, predetermined roles, a ticket system for spawns, punishments for recklessness, a personal wallet system, etc. The core game is still set in the vanilla Arma Reforger time period, so the required mod list will occupy less than 200 MB of storage space on your drive.
The scenarios are set in smaller locations to condense the action and to achieve a more linear frontline push. This keeps both the forward troops and the rear logistics entertained and engaged.
Ironbeard and his Band of Beardos meet up on their community server regularly on Sundays. For more information, join their Discord, which offers onboarding into the new in-game systems and mods, as it may be a bit confusing to newcomers. You can also find the server by searching for [TAW] Sieze & Secure in the server browser.

W.C.S. - Worst Case Scenario
Game Mode: Modified Conflict or Advanced & Secure (AAS)
Setting: Modern
Mod storage: 10-14 GB
Region: EU & US
For an intense, packed, and epic combat experience, the W.C.S. or Worst Case Scenario mod list very much sets the bar for modern combat Arma Reforger gameplay. From hundreds of available weapons, vehicles, ammunition types, gear, and systems to hundreds of players across a wide selection of servers across multiple regions.
Set across diverse community-made terrains such as Everon, Anizay, Gogland, Rostov, Serhiivka, Denali, or Zarichne in either a custom version of Conflict or Advance & Secure (AAS), which concentrates the frontline onto two bases at a time, keeping the combat focused and populated.
Rank up from a Private all the way to General and commandeer main battle tanks, gunship helicopters such as the Mi-24 Hind, KA-52, the AH-64D Apache, or call in airstrikes using your GPS locator. But do not despair, as every asset and every weapon has a counter in the form of MANPADS, AA gun placements, tandem warheads, etc.

75th Ranger Regiment
Game Mode: Cooperative Game Master
Setting: Modern
Mod storage: ~20 GB
Region: US
If you're looking for an intense and immersive, yet non-competitive experience, the 75th Ranger Regiment milsim group hosts a community server focused on cooperative operations. It offers a wide selection of modern outfits, weapons, vehicles, and other gear, set in contemporary times, mostly on desert terrains such as Mogadishu, Fallujah, or a fan-favorite Kunar Province.
The core scenario is Game Master with objectives, means of transport, and the execution being solely in their direction. The 75th Ranger Regiment accepts recruits, but the server is currently open to the public for anyone wanting to play. Be prepared for heightened realism, such as ACE Medical, in which you can check a casualty's vitals, perform CPR, or even overdose on morphine. Keep your medics within range, or better yet, train to be one. Some of these skills may one day translate to real life!

Wasteland
Game Mode: Survival
Setting: Modern
Mod storage: ~15 GB
Region: Multiple
A precursor to the Arma 2 DayZ mod. The original survival looter. Wasteland is a fan-favorite gamemode, building upon competitive and cooperative gameplay at the same time. You spawn as a nobody of one of three factions, and you work your way up towards better equipment, weapons, vehicles, etc. The core of Wasteland is to complete missions of various difficulties, loot, trade, survive, and build a solid base for your faction.
But stay vigilant, as death is lurking on every corner, and with it the loss of everything you had. Once you die, you're back to square one as a fresh spawn.
There are multiple Wasteland servers across a variety of regions. Simply search for the name in the server browser, pick one, and survive.

King of the Hill
Game Mode: Capture & Hold
Setting: Modern
Mod storage: 3-6 GB
Region: EU & US
King of the Hill, or KOTH for short, is ideal for a player who likes to jump straight into the action.
The winning Multiplayer game mode of the original Make Arma Not War competition has naturally made its way into Arma Reforger. This fast-paced and condensed scenario sends three equal factions against each other in a small area to fight it out over key locations. The faction that holds the ever-travelling crucial zones the longest wins.
You start small, with a basic rifle and not much else. But with persistence and combat prowess, you can earn experience to level your character up towards better gear and more advanced vehicles. King of the Hill (or KOTH for short) offers an in-game currency earned by successful fighting, persistent player rank and profile, and long-term progression.
And More...
These five options are only a small slice of all the community servers in the Server Browser. Some servers run permanently, some periodically, some only occasionally. To find out more about servers, other communities, and other players looking for battle buddies, visit our Discord.
