Freedom Fighters

You already know **Freedom Fighters** — Hearts & Minds on Everon, supply runs, base assaults, pushing out the occupier.

**Resistance RP** adds **multiplayer**: **FIA** and **US Army** vs **USSR AI**, plus optional **FIA vs US** war. Same FF sandbox — no new map, no replacement mode.

---

### Factions

**Legacy (default):** spawn as **civilian**; **`#faction fia`** or **`#faction usa`** — free and instant. FIA/US get popups when new civilians appear.

**Enlist mode** (admin: **`#enlist on`** or UI):
- Join FIA/US after **nearby rep (10 m)**, their **`#enlist yes <name>`**, and **1000 cash**
- No faction online? Enlist at **HQ hideout (40 m)** or **liberated town (200 m)** (still costs cash)
- FIA ↔ US same rules; **`#faction civ`** = admin-only desertion
- RP popups: welcome for civs, faction alerts, recruit hints every **5 min** (200 m)

**Off mode:** vanilla FIA spawn; no faction switching.

---

### Sandbox loop

Push USSR (raids, QRFs) → hold bases/factories/towers (FIA or US) → **`#fob`** (one per side) → gear up at armory/FOB/MOB → build sandbags, helipads, garages. Progress **persists** on dedicated servers.

---

### Town influence (FIA vs US)

On **liberated** towns: supplies/posters shift **zero-sum** FIA/US influence. Hover shows **FIA X / US Y**; marker colour = leader. USSR towns stay red until capture. Rivals get a popup when you deliver in their turf.

---

### AI recruits & USSR strikes

**Living Area** tent at **`#fob`** or owned MOB (one per base) — pay to hire armed fighters into your squad. Ambient tent AI despawns when empty.

Hold too much and USSR **plans attacks** on towns/cities: warning window, defend or lose the objective. Timer **pauses** when faction offline. Targets online factions only.

---

### MP performance

Civ/traffic/cars simulate closer to players (~450 m). Fewer distant NPCs — battles, garrisons, recruits unchanged.

---

### PvP rules (peace & `#war`)

**Peace (default):** FIA + US allies. Cross-faction kills = **teamkill**. Shared FOBs, respawn, shops.

**`#war on` (admin):** Rival PvP on **bases and POIs**. USSR/civilians always PvE. HQ/hideout stays shared.

- **License to kill:** rival pants + jacket (or USSR gear). Headwear not required.
- **`#uniform on`** (default): illegal rival kill or rival uniform → lightning zap.
- **`#uniform off`:** no uniform checks.
- **FOB trespass** during war → warning, then zap.
- **Nametags:** your faction (+ squad) only — server-side.

**Admin UI:** **Pause → Admin → Resistance RP settings** (2nd row). Panel toggles: faction mode (cycle Legacy/Off/Enlist), war, uniform, dev. **Apply** saves (persists on dedicated). Chat mirrors UI: `#war`, `#uniform`, `#enlist on/off`, `#faction on/off`.

---

### Gear & cash

| Place | Gear | Pay with |
|-------|------|----------|
| **`#fob`** | FIA armory + equipment | Supplies |
| **Captured MOB** | US weapons; US + FIA clothing | Supplies |
| **Liberated towns** | Civil shops | Cash (physical stacks) |

Cash = inventory stacks. Drop = lose money. **Use** (≥2) splits half; drag to merge. Shops deduct automatically.

---

### Spawn

**Legacy/Enlist:** civ spawn at **HQ/hideout** + **liberated towns**; military spawns (FOB, captured bases) after joining faction.

**Off:** vanilla FIA default.

**Peace:** any FIA/US FOB or captured base (enlisted). **War:** contest bases/POIs; towns + HQ always shared.

---
