Community Radar #22

Welcome to the latest Arma Reforger Community Radar, or as we also call it, #COMRAD. We're excited to showcase another incredible community content for everyone to enjoy. Let's jump into it!

COM-ART

To start us off strong, we recently held a holiday screenshot competition, and Radioman took the top spot with an absolutely standout entry. His shot delivered an intense night-combat moment full of rain, particles, damage textures, and incredible facial animation that we couldn't help but feature for all to see. A flawless, cinematic composition and a well-deserved win.

This intense helicopter dismount from My Vape Blew Up puts you right in the boots of a soldier. The effective use of animation and atmospheric elements makes it feel like a cutscene frame, as if we're really getting off the chopper and landing on Kolguyev. Fantastic image!

With the 1.6 update, operations can get even more clandestine, letting players sneak across the island before making their move. Masterdjarch nails that tense pre-strike moment here, capturing a special forces operator poised to hit an unsuspecting enemy. The contrasting blue and red hues and bifurcation of the door frame does an excellent job of highlighting the conceptual and literal split between the two sides. We look forward to seeing what you share next.

Never leave home without your battle buddy! Things can go sideways fast, and having someone watching your back can make a difference. DriftyTime captures that idea in this fun shot. In the most brutal fights, it’s always reassuring to know you’re not facing it alone. So invite your friends and join the game!

With the year winding down, we hope you will all get some well-earned R&R this holiday season... kind of like this Soviet soldier, captured by Sabre. Rest up while you can… we’ve got plenty of exciting things on the horizon for the new year.

COM-DEV

If you're after a modern MRAP for your scenarios, check out the newly released MaxxPro 2.0 by Spartan Actual (AKA xXDrPlagueXx). This work-in-progress mod brings a beefy troop carrier into the game. Use it for your patrols or storming into a firefight with some extra protection. With solid armor, strong off-road handling, and that iconic look, it fits perfectly into modded milsim sessions. Take it for a spin and drop any feedback in Discord.

The M1083 (FMTV) by TheSpaceStrider is a reliable addition for anyone looking to move troops and supplies across Everon, Arland, or Kolguyev. This tough military transport handles rough terrain like a champ and is well-suited for hauling a squad or running logistics. Grab it now from the Workshop!

The French SA330 Puma has made its return, thanks to the French Reforger Mod team bringing back this classic medium transport helicopter. It comes in two French military textures and is excellent for transport and logistics. While the updated version is still in the works, you can take to the sky and fly the current release right now.

As if creating a gorgeous terrain wasn’t enough, Make Arma Not War winner Kaffeina decided our maps deserved a glow-up too. Arma Cartography overhauls the 2D maps for Everon and Arland, replacing the vanilla versions with detailed, high-quality cartography that reads like a real military atlas. If you're a terrain creator who wants your own map drawn up in this style, Kaffeina is open to collaborating. Just reach out on the official Arma Discord.

While Reforger is full of immersive and feature-rich mods, sometimes you just need something silly. Argh’s Hot Dog Car absolutely delivers. It’s goofy, it’s fun, and it’s a perfect reminder that the only real limit for an Arma modder is their creativity. You can race around with this and other car variants (such as a bathtub) on the Workshop.

COM-OPS

In January, we announced the opening of the Make Arma Not War 2025 modding competition, and on November 5, we finally revealed the winners. Out of more than 200 submissions, give a huge congratulations to TepacheLoco, JohnnyKerner, the ACE mod team, and Brickloco for their winning entries. We also want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part; the submissions showed just how much talent exists in this community.

To see the complete list of winners, check out the announcement video below or over on our YouTube channel.

Nothing beats seeing Arma drip brought to life, and TrueMobster absolutely crushed this fit check. The Alpenflage pattern paired with that FIA-style loadout looks spot-on... all it's missing is a Vz. 58.

COM-VIDEO

In case you missed it, the 1.6 update dropped with a ton of new content, including the beautiful terrain of Kolguyev, the new Conflict HQC mode, a singleplayer campaign, and plenty more. King Alex put together a great breakdown of everything packed into one of our largest updates yet, covering new features and assets, and playing some of the new content players can try today.

FRANKIEonPCin1080p is back in the Armaverse! This time, heading back in time for some modded Vietnam gameplay. If you’ve missed his Arma adventures, this one has a lot of laughable moments and, of course, general chaos.

A well-known name in the skies, Arma Pilot, took to the air for a tour across the different regions and features of the new Kolguyev terrain. So whether you’re in the mood for a peaceful scenic flight or like nonstop helicopter action, his channel has plenty to enjoy.

The Serialist is back with another fantastic, immersive storytelling video. From explosive setups to sneaky maneuvers, he's a menace once again, with enjoyable and well-edited gameplay moments. Absolutely worth a watch!

COM-STREAM

FnMoonMoon is a super welcoming member of the Arma community, streaming every day and always inviting viewers to hang out, chat, and enjoy the game together. He genuinely enjoys playing Arma Reforger (and many other titles). If you want someone consistent, friendly, and fun to watch Arma content with, drop by his Twitch and say hello.
