Imperium vs Chaos — a Warhammer 40,000 Conflict experience on Anizay
GAME MODE
Grimdark Conflict turns Arma Reforger's Conflict into a war between the Imperium (IMP) and the forces of Chaos (CHAOS) on the Anizay map. Capture towns, oilfields and forward bases, run supplies, build defences and push the enemy back to their main HQ. Each side starts from its own airfield: the Imperial Bastion at Landay and the Chaos Warcamp at Riqay.
FEATURES
Battlefield
- 34 bases, capture points and oil sources placed inside the towns and compounds of Anizay
- Main HQs placed on open ground at the Landay and Riqay airfields
Forward HQs (FFOBs)
- Build up to 10 forward HQs per side with the engineer truck, anywhere except within 250 m of an enemy or friendly main HQ
- Auto-named FFOB-1, FFOB-2... and renamable with #fob name (name filter blocks extreme and racist slurs)
- Enemy forces can capture your FFOBs
- Drop supplies anywhere inside the FOB radius; supply caches built at a FOB link to it automatically
Building
- Free placement: build inside, around and on top of objects; spawn points placed on objects work
- Faster building (50% per action)
- Aegis walls, turrets and fortifications from Grimdark Frontiers for both sides
- Sandbags, bunkers, hedgehogs, dragon's teeth, barbed wire, floodlights, supply caches and mortar pits
Vehicles
- Grimdark vehicles only (no Cold War reskins)
- Heavy depot: Chimeras (tracked and wheeled), plus Pox BTRs and BRDMs for Chaos
- Light depot: Tauros, Tauros Venators and bikes
- Helipad: Valkyries
- Cheap supply trucks: M923 for the Imperium, Ural for Chaos
Progression
- Double XP on all gains
- New ranks above Major: Colonel, General and Impossible
- No demotion on death: penalties can't drop you below your current rank (teamkills still count)
- Gear unlocks by rank and item type: heavier weapons, plasma/melta, power weapons and heavy armour unlock as you climb
- Everyone spawns as a rifleman and builds their kit at the arsenal
Space Marines (General rank)
- Imperium: Space Marine with Black Templars armour, plus 9th Legion, 18th Legion, Scythes, Apothecary, Lamenters and Sanctum Studios armour to customise
- Chaos: Iron Warriors Chaos Space Marine and Death Guard Marine, plus Red Corsairs armour
- Bolters, power swords, power hammers, axes and shields for Generals
- Shield pendants (force fields) for Generals
- Heavy marine footsteps
Loadouts
- Bacon Loadout Editor on every arsenal: customise, save and reload kits (including Space Marine kits)
Quality of life
- Stamina off: everyone runs at the same pace regardless of gear
- 12-player squads for large servers
Admin tools (server admins only)
- FIA admin faction: whitelisted admins only, Game Master access, unlimited-supply camp at Bum, invisible to both sides
- #fia list/add/remove — manage the FIA whitelist
- #side <imp|chaos|fia> [playerId] — switch team instantly
- #rank list/set/xp — set ranks or give XP
- #fob list/name — list and rename forward HQs
- #gdc arsenal/slots/save — arsenal diagnostics
