# The Zero Line Custom Mod License (TZL-CML) v1.1

This license governs the use, distribution, and modification of the accompanying Arma Reforger mod (the "Mod") created by and for The Zero Line ("the Author", "The Zero Line", "we", "us").
This is a custom license issued under Section 3 of the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms of Use. It is subordinate to the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms of Use, the applicable Arma Reforger EULA(s), the Arma Reforger Tools EULA, and Bohemia Interactive's Terms and Conditions. If any provision of this license conflicts with a mandatory provision of those documents, the mandatory provision controls to the extent of the conflict. Nothing in this license limits the normal technical functioning of the Arma Reforger Workshop or any rights granted directly to Bohemia Interactive under its terms.
## 1. Grant of Use
This Mod is provided for use **exclusively on official The Zero Line-operated Arma Reforger servers**. No license, right, or permission is granted to any other individual, group, community, clan, or organization ("Third Party") to:
- Run, host, or deploy this Mod, in whole or in part, on any server not owned and operated by The Zero Line;
- Use this Mod in any private, public, or community server outside of The Zero Line's own infrastructure;
- Distribute, mirror, upload, or otherwise make this Mod available for others to download, host, or use.
## 2. Restrictions
Unless express written permission has been granted by The Zero Line (see Section 3), you may **NOT**:
1. Host this Mod, or any modified or unmodified derivative of it, on any server other than a The Zero Line server.
2. Redistribute the Mod's files, source, assets, or configuration in any form (including via Steam Workshop, Reforger Workshop, GitHub, Discord, file-sharing sites, or any other platform).
3. Sell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit the Mod or any part of it.
4. Claim authorship or ownership of the Mod or represent it as your own work.
5. Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract assets from the Mod for use outside of The Zero Line servers.
6. Remove or alter any copyright, license, or attribution notices contained within the Mod's files.
## 3. Requesting Permission
The Zero Line may, at its sole discretion, grant written permission to individuals, communities, or organizations to host or use this Mod outside of The Zero Line's own servers. Any such permission:
- Must be requested directly from The Zero Line in advance;
- Will only be valid if granted in writing (e.g., written message, signed agreement, or public statement from an authorized The Zero Line representative);
- May include specific conditions, limitations, or an expiration date;
- Is granted only to the requesting party and is **non-transferable**;
- May be revoked by The Zero Line at any time, for any reason, upon notice.

## 4. Non-Commercial and Platform Restrictions
These restrictions are mandatory under Section 3 of the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms of Use and bind every licensee, including any party holding written permission granted under Section 3 above:
1. **No commercial use.** The Mod may not be used for any commercial purpose.
2. **No monetization.** No direct or indirect monetization of the Mod is permitted. This includes, without limitation, sale, rental, paid access, subscriptions, donations tied to access or in-game benefit, advertising revenue derived from the Mod, or inclusion in any paid product or service, unless separately and explicitly approved in writing by Bohemia Interactive under its Server Monetization Rules.
3. **Reforger-only.** The Mod may not be used outside Bohemia Interactive's own products. It may not be converted, adapted, or ported for use in any other game or engine.
4. Nothing in this Section restricts the Author. As the copyright holder, the Author is not a licensee of the Mod. The Author's own operation of any server is governed by the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms of Use and by Bohemia Interactive's Server Monetization Rules, and requires Bohemia Interactive's approval where those rules require it.
## 5. Ownership
This Mod remains the sole property of The Zero Line. This license does not transfer any ownership rights. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by The Zero Line.
## 6. No Warranty
This Mod is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In no event shall The Zero Line be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this Mod.
## 7. Termination
Any use of this Mod in violation of this license automatically terminates any permission granted under Section 3 (if applicable) and may result in further action, including DMCA takedown requests, Workshop/platform reporting, or other legal remedies available to The Zero Line.
## 8. Governing Terms
This license applies to all current and future versions of the Mod unless explicitly superseded by a newer license version published by The Zero Line.
