Following a major Russian advance across Kunar, friendly forces have been pushed back to their final foothold in the region. Mission 01 – **ANVIL DAWN** marks the beginning of the counteroffensive.

S.P.I.T forces are tasked with reconnoitring and recapturing a previously abandoned FOB, securing the surrounding area, and recovering any remaining supplies and equipment. Once reactivated, the FOB will serve as the forward base for all further operations in **Operation Mountain Spear**.
