Description
FMTV A2 Achilles Pack
The FMTV A2 Achilles Pack brings a growing lineup of modern tactical logistics and combat vehicles to Arma Reforger. Built around the FMTV platform, the pack is designed to give units more options for transport, supply, convoy operations, and battlefield fire support while keeping everything integrated with the Achilles ecosystem.
The pack includes multiple FMTV configurations ranging from cargo and covered transport setups to specialized combat systems. The centerpiece is the FMTV MLRS, featuring a fully functional 15-round launcher with animated traverse, elevation, tube covers, launcher deployment, reload and stow functions.
FMTV MLRS
The MLRS includes a custom Fire Control System built specifically for the vehicle. Operators can open a full-screen tactical map, move the targeting crosshair over a position, set the target, select the desired salvo size, and fire once the launcher has finished laying onto the target.
The Fire Control display includes:
Live tactical map
Grid coordinates
Target altitude
Range to target
Adjustable map zoom and positioning
Selectable 1–15 rocket salvo
Automatic fire mode
Manual fire control
Target designation
Launcher stow and reload controls
The launcher will automatically traverse and elevate toward the selected target, and firing is prevented until the system is properly laid onto the target. Auto Fire can also be armed so the launcher fires the selected salvo as soon as it reaches its firing solution.
Rockets use a high-arcing flight profile designed to clear terrain and descend onto the designated target area, complete with launch effects, rocket trails, impact effects, and dedicated launch audio.
The FMTV platform also includes custom vehicle systems such as air-brake audio, launcher hydraulic movement sounds, cab-mounted controls, keyboard controls, and full controller support for the MLRS system.
Dependency
Achilles Core Pack is required. The FMTV A2 Achilles project uses the Core Pack for its shared ACM systems and scripts.
This pack will continue to expand with additional FMTV configurations, functionality, and improvements as development continues.
