Guided missile overwatch mode — heli orbits at high altitude, nose locked on target, firing from standoff distance
Smart fire rate — shoots faster at escaping or high-value targets, conserves ammo when low
CAS evasion — breaks off when taking damage, randomly climbs high or dives low into terrain
Free roam patrol for attack helicopters with automatic RTB for rearm
Air Combat (Heli vs Heli)
5 combat personalities: Aggressive, Ambusher, High Diver, Evader, Flanker
13 dynamic maneuvers including terrain masking, pop-up attacks, scissors, and reversals
AI vs Player — more unpredictable behavior against player-controlled helicopters
Wingman coordination — grouped helis split into chaser/flanker roles
Damage-aware — shifts to evasion when engine or rotor is damaged
Weapon-aware — adapts tactics based on remaining ammo
Gamemaster Features
Spawn helicopters empty, then right-click to select crew faction (US, USSR, FIA)
GM Waypoint system — place marker, set type, execute to dispatch instantly
Command Panel — select a GM heli, buttons appear for LZ/LN/HL/CAS/MOVE
Click a button, click in the world — heli dispatches directly
Waypoint stays visible and moveable — drag it to redirect the heli mid-flight
Delete the waypoint to cancel the mission (heli returns to base)
Multi-select support — command multiple helicopters at once
Auto-spawn troops into cargo seats
Emergency RTB — passengers can abort the mission from inside the helicopter
