Mission taking place in Kunar region going againts MEI (Middle East Insurgency)
Description
Kunar Province remains unstable following years of conflict and the ongoing withdrawal of coalition forces. Insurgent groups have rapidly expanded and unified under a single faction known as the Middle East Insurgency (MEI).
The MEI is led by a former market chairman who has used his financial resources to build a well-equipped fighting force. The group now fields a mix of older and modern weapons, along with light vehicles, increasing its operational capability.
Our unit has been designated as the final element to withdraw from the region due to the growing insurgent threat.
Enemy activity is expected to be high. Expect ambushes and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) along key routes.
