Project Outbreak Zombies

EXODUS CORE

Exodus Core is a squad-versus-squad survival sandbox for Arma Reforger, set on Arland. Gather supplies, explore tiered loot areas, unlock keycard locations, build a squad base, and survive encounters with rival squads and zombies.

Built around Reforger’s native systems, Exodus combines squad management, randomized deployment, scavenging, base building, vehicles, and Game Master tools.

SQUADS & COMMUNICATION

• Public and private squads supporting up to 12 players.
• Unassigned, Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie fireteams.
• Squad and fireteam chat and radio integration.
• Squadmate map markers and name tags using squad/fireteam colors.
• Local minimap, compass, Auto Run, tactical-map facing indicator, and private waypoints.

SURVIVAL & LOOT

• Random deployment across the scenario’s configured spawn points.
• A forgiving civilian starter loadout with essential equipment.
• Searchable containers with tiered loot and randomized rewards.
• Keycard-access locations with progressively stronger equipment.
• Build kits and tools available through the loot system.
• Reduced gear-weight movement and stamina penalties.

BUILDING & VEHICLES

• Field building with fortifications and functional base facilities.
• Squad command posts and squad-only radar deployment points.
• Squad ownership and dismantling rules for player-built structures.
• Vehicle salvaging to recover supplies.
• Tiered vehicle pools and dedicated helicopter spawn markers.
• Managed vehicle replacement and parked-vehicle retention rules.
• Vehicles and player-built structures reset when the server restarts.

WORLD & GAME MASTER

• The Arland scenario with an offshore Oil Rig.
• Zombie encounters powered by Project Outbreak and Creature Melee AI.
• GM Event Director integration.
• A GM-only Exodus Loot Arsenal with loot-tier labels.
• An Exodus content filter in the Game Master entity browser.

DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Exodus Core remains under active development and multiplayer testing. Features, balance, and configurations may change between updates.

Dedicated-server behavior, join-in-progress, reconnects, radio communications, controller/console presentation, performance, and long-session stability continue to receive testing. Please report issues with reproduction steps and relevant client or server logs when possible.
