x400 full function
by QJamzing
1.1.21
1.1.21 - Complete English artwork and control reference - Restore the requested original X400 product cover and update its version badge to v1.1.21. - Add the full three-stage laser guide back to the Workshop gallery alongside the mouse-control guide. All three promotional images now show v1.1.21. - Correct the laser guide to say Hold Forward + scroll, matching the current side-button mapping. Keep the real gameplay screenshots and original product reference image. - Refresh the English summary, description and release notes so the artwork and documented controls agree. Current controls (retained from 1.1.20) - Forward: hold for temporary laser, double-click to toggle steady laser, hold + wheel to adjust laser level. A plain single-click does not latch an output. - Back: hold for temporary flashlight, double-click to toggle steady light, hold + wheel to adjust light level. Single-click starts a continuous 30Hz strobe at 10x maximum flashlight intensity; press Back again to stop. - Shift + Forward single-click: turn on steady flashlight + laser and stop strobe. Press either Shift first, then make a short Forward click. Wheels, long holds and interrupted chords cancel the click; ordinary clicks cannot merge into the Shift chord. - No Caps required. Scroll down: dim VIS -> IR -> increase IR brightness; scroll up reverses this sequence. Retain the R/F inspection controls, apostrophe wheel and saved settings. Three-stage VIS/IR laser scale (retained) - 10-100: fixed small dot; brightness increases. Near-invisible beam in clear daylight, faint at night, with smoke/fog scattering. - 100-200: normal dot grows while brightness stays at the 100 setting. A soft, wispy beam develops; smoke/fog scattering remains. - 200-300: stronger beam and brighter dot. Dot size remains capped at the 200 setting; no further enlargement. Maximum strength at 300. - IR requires compatible night vision. Powered settings are 10-300 in steps of 10; power is separate. This is an artwork/documentation update. Gameplay code is unchanged from 1.1.20, whose 699 Workbench assertions passed. Physical input, multiplayer, visual matching and full mod-list loading remain pending. This release does not claim to fix the previously reported preload stall.

1.1.20
1.1.20 - Swapped side buttons and isolated Shift dual control - Mouse Forward now controls the laser: hold for temporary output, double-click for steady laser, hold + wheel for laser level. A plain single-click no longer latches either channel. - Mouse Back now controls the flashlight: hold for temporary output, double-click for steady light, hold + wheel for light level, single-click for continuous 30Hz strobe at 10x maximum intensity. Press Back again to stop without restarting on release. - Move steady flashlight + laser to Shift + Forward single-click. Either Shift key works. Press Shift first and make a short Forward click; long holds and interrupted chords do not activate dual mode. - Refactor physical-button mapping, modifier ownership, wheel priority and command dispatch into one input arbiter. Cancel pending clicks when a wheel gesture, opposite side button, menu or equipment change takes ownership. - Prevent Shift changes from merging ordinary clicks with the dual chord. Prevent wheel releases from triggering strobe, double-click latches or dual mode. Preserve previously latched outputs after temporary holds. - Keep the shared VIS/IR wheel sequence, R inspection menu, apostrophe wheel, saved brightness and independent power states. - Preserve all three VIS/IR laser stages: 10-100 increases brightness at fixed small dot size; 100-200 grows the normal dot at fixed brightness with a soft beam; 200-300 strengthens the beam and brightens the dot while its size stays capped at 200. Retain smoke/fog scattering and the 300 maximum. - Update English control labels, Workshop text, cover and realistic mouse-control guide. - Workbench compilation, packaging and 699 assertions passed. Full mod-list loading and physical input/multiplayer validation remain pending; this release does not claim a fix for the earlier preload stall.

1.1.19
1.1.19 - Three-stage laser dot and beam refactor - Rebuilt the VIS/IR laser scale into three smoothly connected stages, with 30 powered settings from 10 to 300. - 10-100: adjust dot brightness while holding a small fixed dot size. Raised the visible-dot brightness floor for daytime aiming; retained a very faint clear-air beam and native smoke/fog scattering. - 100-200: gradually enlarge the normal projected laser dot, keeping its brightness at the 100 setting. Introduce a soft, wispy beam while preserving smoke/fog scatter. - 200-300: progressively strengthen the beam and brighten the dot. Keep dot size capped at the 200 setting, with no further enlargement. Maximum strength is reached at 300. - Keep VIS and IR on the same staged size/beam curve; IR remains gated by compatible night vision. - Add stage labels to the inspection-menu laser scale. Preserve side-button/wheel behavior, saved settings, independent power controls, strobe and radial-menu controls. - Keep obstacle clipping and one reused beam entity. Reapply the actual power state after light parameter changes to prevent unwanted activation. - Replace the Workshop cover and add an English three-stage laser guide. Retain existing gameplay screenshots and original author attribution. - Workbench compilation, packaging and 608 assertions passed. Native light readback verifies fixed size through 100, growth from 100 to 200 and capped size through 300. Day/night/smoke visual matching and multiplayer testing remain pending.

1.1.17
1.1.17 - Laser 300 and progressive beam visibility - Extended visible and IR laser intensity from 100 to 300, in steps of 10. - Reworked levels 10-200 to keep the beam extremely faint in clear air, with native volumetric lighting for smoke/fog scattering. - Added a smooth increase in beam visibility above 200: each step from 210 to 300 strengthens the beam, reaching maximum at 300. Returning to 200 restores the faint-beam range. - Applied the same progression to VIS and IR. IR beams and impact dots remain visible only through compatible night vision. - Separated beam visibility from impact-dot brightness and kept obstacle clipping and a thin beam profile. - Updated side-button scrolling, R-menu adjustment, saved settings and restored values to support all 30 laser levels. Existing saved levels remain compatible. - Retained the Back-button laser-only hold, no-Caps wheel controls, 30Hz strobe, radial menu and F-menu controls. - Reused the same beam entity across power and VIS/IR changes; no per-frame network updates. - Workbench compilation, packaging and 407 checks passed, including all VIS/IR levels, the 200/210 boundary, level-300 restoration, beam reuse and wall clipping. In-game smoke appearance and multiplayer validation remain pending.

1.1.16
1.1.16 - Laser beams and Back-button fix - Fixed Back-button hold and Back + wheel incorrectly activating the flashlight; both now target only the laser. Double-click still toggles steady laser, and single-click retains dual-output mode. - Added visible red and IR laser beams alongside the existing impact dots. IR visibility follows the observer's compatible night-vision state. - Unified beam brightness with the VIS/IR wheel sequence. Beams follow the laser emitter and stop at walls/terrain, up to 250 metres. - Reuse one local beam entity per attachment across power and VIS/IR changes; stop updates when hidden and clean up on deletion. No per-frame network RPCs. - Updated description and controls: no Caps; 30Hz strobe at 10x maximum visible flashlight intensity; double F + wheel for brightness and hold F for power in the R inspection menu. - Workbench compilation and packaging passed: 206 checks, 200 native light cycles, 1000 renderer updates, and 200 beam switches with one entity. Native wall clipping verified. In-game visuals, live input and multiplayer remain pending.
