ORCA_STO_PilotRescue
English
Adds friendly pilot rescue events to the current objective bases in STO Linear Conflict PvE.
Each objective base has a one-time 50% chance to spawn exactly two captive vanilla US pilots. Approach each pilot and use the “Rescue Pilot” interaction to release them.
Features:
• Rescue events occur only at current STO objective bases.
• Captive pilots remain stationary and are protected from damage.
• Each rescued pilot is removed 120 seconds after their individual release.
• Rescuing both pilots displays “MISSION SUCCEEDED”.
• Losing a captive or leaving the objective unfinished displays “MISSION FAILED”.
• Remaining pilots are cleaned up when the objective changes.
• Spawn decisions and entity deletion are handled by the server.
Required dependencies:
• STO Conflict PvE Dev — 69E72A9FFBD6DDF7
• STO Linear Conflict PvE Dev — 69E901B4E5C427F8
Uses vanilla US pilots. ACE Captives is not required.
Development version: multiplayer and dedicated-server gameplay verification is still pending.

STO Linear Conflict PvE
