Freedom Fighters

MCW Arsenal adds a shared persistent field arsenal and supply shop to Freedom Fighters.

Build an MCW Field Armory, store equipment for your group, browse shared stock by category, take or equip gear, and assemble weapons using compatible attachments and magazines available in the Arsenal.

HOW IT WORKS

• Equipment is stored as persistent Arsenal stock instead of keeping every stored item physically spawned.

• Shared stock can be accessed by multiple players.

• Items can be taken directly into inventory or equipped / replaced from the Arsenal menu.

• Structural weapon and equipment parts remain attached to their parent items, while supported removable equipment and cargo are handled safely.

• Arsenal stock is restored from the campaign save after loading.

• Large-stock loading and synchronization have been optimized for heavily populated Arsenals.

BUILD WEAPON

Select a weapon and use Build Weapon to assemble it from compatible equipment currently available in stock.

• Choose compatible optics and weapon attachments.

• Select compatible magazines and the quantity you want.

• Build & Equip loads one selected magazine into the weapon and places the remaining magazines into your inventory.

• Compatibility is resolved from the weapon's actual magazine and attachment configuration.

ITEM / GEAR SCORE

Supported combat equipment displays a numeric Item Score representing its relative equipment quality.

Current Score support includes:

• Weapons
• Weapon attachments and optics
• Vests / chest rigs / body armor
• Helmets and helmet attachments
• NVGs
• Backpacks

Item Score is currently display-only and does not automatically change equipment, stats or Arsenal sorting.

The system is designed to support future AI equipment and rearm functionality.

MCW LOOTBOX INTEGRATION

MCW LootBox can transfer collected battlefield equipment directly into shared Arsenal stock.

Together they provide a simple logistics flow:

Collect → Transport → Transfer → Store → Equip

FIELD ARMORY

The MCW Field Armory is available through the Freedom Fighters Construction menu.

The server and clients must use the same required mod set.

QUICK START

1. Build the MCW Field Armory through the Freedom Fighters Construction menu.
2. Deposit equipment or transfer supplies from an MCW LootBox.
3. Open Arsenal and browse the shared stock.
4. Use Take to Inventory or Equip / Replace.
5. Use Build Weapon to assemble a weapon with compatible stocked attachments and magazines.
6. Use the Supply Shop for supported field supplies.

EXISTING SAVES

If you used older MCW Arsenal versions, some items in an existing campaign save may already have incorrectly separated structural parts.

Current versions prevent this behaviour going forward, but previously affected save data is not automatically reconstructed.

Backing up and checking existing campaign saves before updating is recommended.

KNOWN ISSUES & LIMITATIONS

• Some heavily modded items or unusual attachment combinations may still encounter inventory or restore compatibility issues.

• Unsupported item states are handled fail-safe where possible rather than being silently destroyed.

• Very large Arsenal stocks or heavily modded multiplayer environments may still have additional loading or synchronization cost.
