Summary
Fight for control of the Black Mountains in a grounded Cold War-era conflict set in the troubled Karnova region north of Chernarus.
Description
The year is 2008.
Rising instability along the northern Black Mountains has pushed the remote Russian-aligned region of Karnova into open conflict. What began as isolated insurgent activity carried out by South Zagorian separatists and mountain militias has escalated into a wider regional crisis threatening the entire border.
Russian forces move to secure key infrastructure, mountain roads, and coastal settlements as guerrilla fighters strike from deep forests and remote valleys. Meanwhile, U.S. and NATO advisors enter the region under the guise of monitoring operations, intelligence gathering, and regional stabilization efforts.
Black Mountains Conflict delivers a grounded large-scale warfare experience across the rugged terrain of Karnova featuring dense forests, remote villages, industrial zones, winding mountain roads, and vulnerable coastal towns inspired by central Slovakia and adapted into the Armaverse.
