Karnova

Karnova is a 9x9km terrain set along the Black Mountain frontier north of South Zagoria in the Armaverse.
Inspired by the real-world geography of central Slovakia and adapted into a grounded post-Soviet military sandbox, the region features dense mountain forests, isolated villages, industrial valleys, abandoned Soviet infrastructure, coastal terrain, and sprawling rural landscapes designed for immersive combined arms gameplay.
Development of Karnova has focused heavily on believable geography, realistic land use, natural forest growth, and environmental storytelling. Roads, forests, fields, rivers, and settlements have been carefully shaped using real terrain reference data to create a region that feels authentic both from the ground and from the air.

Built with inspiration from the grounded atmosphere and realism of classic Arma terrains while taking advantage of Reforger’s modern lighting, terrain rendering, and environmental systems.
