Better vanilla U.S. Loadout is a high-quality visual enhancement mod focused on authentically upgrading American military web gear and field equipment. Designed with historical accuracy and battlefield immersion in mind, this mod completely reworks U.S. Army load-bearing equipment, delivering sharper textures, improved models, and realistic material detailing that reflects late–Cold War combat conditions.
The mod introduces visually accurate webbing systems inspired by the transition period between the end of the Vietnam War and the early 1980s. Soldiers are equipped with era-appropriate ALICE gear, updated pouches, canteens, butt packs, and field accessories, all carefully crafted to capture the rugged, battle-worn look of troops operating in tropical and expeditionary environments.
Beyond visual upgrades, U.S. Loadout adds functional improvements to infantry roles.
