Summary
Custom preset of CRX modified to be a more refined option than the more blunt options on the workshop like "Very hard/Cyclon/etc" that have issues with AI sniping you, especially in vehicles.
Description
Modifies AI skill levels and accuracy with different modifiers per faction to simulate different training standards. Strived with the goal of punishing players out of cover and concealment while not laserbeaming players through foilage and in woods or CQB.
In comparison to default CRX:
AI Perception is increased in alert and safe stances, and increased in combat as well but less than alert.
Accuracy increased overall for targets that are fully visible, but not increased to 80-100% hit rate like other mods.
AI survivability is mildly increased, AI general skill level increased to near max (increases AI likelihood to make good command decisions). Slightly increased reaction time to threats. AI will stay in defensive positions longer as well.
Factions have distinct differences in ability to spot, identify, and fire at targets, as well as different reaction times and formation distances to account for training differences.
Suppressive fire allows rockets, rocket firing cool down decreased, and the AI uses less ammo for longer suppressive fire sustainment.
Leader Will stop for the squadron to prevent AI lone wolfing.
AI will have a 600-900~ ms delay (depending on faction) before engaging a target, or newly presented target, in clear visibility to mimic aim time and target ID. Allowing players to do the 2 second run and drop rule effectively.
Notice: Do not use this with any other AI modifying CRX mods, and always load it last to ensure functionality.
Licensing: This mod is APL-SA authorized, as it merely changes values present within CRX mod itself, and thus is not restricted in any manner for further modification from the community at large. Feel free to tweak or modify this mod as you see fit.
