Summary

Invade and Annex is a large-scale PvE Gamemode that incentivizes cooperation. Players are limited to a single objective area at a time.

Description

Core Features
Dynamic Objective System
Main Objectives: Only one area active at a time, with multiple objectives like capturing, destroying radio towers, or holding against counter-attacks.

Side Objectives: Includes “Assassinate HVT” missions, with escaping targets and objectives to disrupt enemy reinforcements. (Many more planned)

AI & Enemy Enhancements
AI Coordination: Groups communicate, choose roles (attack, defend, flank), and react dynamically.

Scaling & Reinforcements: AI numbers scale with player count and can be fine-tuned via server config. Reinforcements spawn in waves, and radio towers now generate infinite enemy waves until destroyed.

Civilian System: Civilian deaths caused by players can trigger armed revolts and militia reinforcements.

Player & Role Systems (Optional)
Role Limitation: Restricts vehicle/weapons by role; defaults to off, can be enabled by config/mod.

Persistent Roles: Roles stay after respawn or reconnect (within 3 minutes).

Stats & Leaderboards: Real-time tracking of kills, deaths, HVTs killed, and more. Accessible in-game, includes global and server leaderboards.

Customization & Server Controls
Comprehensive Config: Server owners can override factions, vehicle pools, AI scaling, and other gameplay settings via config file—no scripting needed.

Custom Faction Support: Enemy and friendly units preferentially use registered modded factions and vehicles.

HQ Vehicle Customization: All vehicle types at HQ are fully configurable.

Quality of Life & UI
Improved Notifications: In-game UI alerts for objectives, captures, new tasks, etc.
Staggered Spawns & Optimization: AI spawn logic reduces server hitching and lag.
Medical Vehicle Spawns: Medical vehicles available at HQ.
Enhanced Civilian Behavior: Civilians patrol, react to combat, and now only count as casualties if killed by US units (not accidents/artillery).

Maps & Building System
Multi-Map Support: Runs on Gogland, Anizay, Fallujah, and more.
Designed for easy migration by myself or the community to other maps.

Recent Major Updates
Statistics & Leaderboards: Global/server leaderboards for kills, deaths, HVTs, and more; accessible via pause menu.
Artillery Strikes: Enemy AI can call in artillery based on player actions; side objectives can disable artillery temporarily.
Defend Objective Logic: Timed defend phases with randomized attack waves after capturing an area.

Capture System Reworked: Timer-based capturing with player contribution tracking. (Much more work to be done)

Rework of Vehicle Reinforcement Waves.
Rework Civilian movement when in an active warzone.

Randomly spawned Intel gives advantage to players if brought back to HQ.
Emplacement spawning (specifically for Bacon Robots support)
GM Spawnable Entities (Role selector and other I&A specific prefabs)
Rework radio signal distance.
