Summary
Small 2x1km infantry focused British Army training ground
Description
Longmoor, Hampshire, United Kingdom.
This small dry training area is used by the British Army to conduct blank firing kinetic exercises.
The Longmoor terrain contains 8 points of interest, with the key point being the central training town where most activity takes places, which is split in two with furnished modern buildings for COIN operations and dilapidated barren buildings for more kinetic training.
The town also features a historic railway line with tight crawl tunnel access under the line for people to pass through, including an underground tunnel system joint to each building (not yet added).
The surrounding terrain contains dense woodblocks with long internal sightlines, also featuring large open areas with sparse cover and concelment.
Micro terrain has been a focus point.
You'll find lots of dips, depression, berms, reentrants, old platoon harbour/fighting areas in the woods, and even the infamous "babyhead" tuffs of grass that make almost any vehicle movement across a nightmare, and one small slip from completely destroying your ankle - Good luck fighting on these!
Civilians also share M.O.D grounds, so not to far off the training camp there's a small estate where typically military families or caretakers of the ground stay with a local pub, shop, and football field.

This is my first piece of content for Reforger and hopefully won't be the last.
I had a blast making this passion hobby project in my spare time after work and around being a family man as well as education.
I used to serve in the British Army and have first hand personal experience at this ground, so alot comes from memory.
If you want to get involved with myself and the community whole brought you the Longmoor terrain for no sign up, zero commitment, operations both Arma Reforger and Arma 3 every week, then come over to discord.globalconflicts.net
