FPV ULTRA REALISM — FLY THE LINK, READ THE OSD
More than additional drones: a connected flight, radio and video simulation for Arma Reforger. Fly FPV, manage your link, operate camera platforms and build interception scenarios.
FLIGHT, SIGNAL & INSTRUMENTS
• Aircraft-specific flight response, motors and battery behaviour.
• Separate control and video links; analog/digital video, selectable frequency bands and VTX power, terrain masking, antenna orientation, obstruction and electronic-warfare effects.
• Radio, fibre-optic and satellite-equipped variants with distinct link behaviour.
• Equipment-aware OSD: flight mode, voltage/current, heading, speed, height, HOME and link information. These are game simulation models, not certified training instruments.
INTERCEPTION & MISSION TOOLS
• STING interceptor with dedicated model, FPV flight and manual payload detonation.
• Shahed-136 routes and waves, animated propeller, spatial engine audio, climbs/descents and crash/wreck behaviour.
• Interceptor OSD with contacts, direction, range and relative height.
• Persistent World Editor planning: departure, route points, speed/height, scheduling, waves and event-driven entry; terrain and flight-constraint checks.
• Native-map Game Master route editing during play. Save persistent mission design through Workbench.
NEW IN 0.2.5 — DJI RC3 & CLEARER CONTROLS
DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 USB support through the included Windows companion: DirectInput/HID to XInput plus mod commands. A separate Python/vgamepad/ViGEmBus setup is required; choosing the preset alone is not enough. No radio firmware modification.
TX15 and DJI RC3 have been physically play-tested and validated by the author. Twelve other profiles remain software-tested beta: RadioMaster TX16S, Boxer, GX12; Jumper T14, T15, T16, T18; FrSky X10, X12S; FlySky EL18, NV14, PL18. That is 14 models offered, not 14 physically certified radios. Use only listed models and matching firmware; a shared EdgeTX/OpenTX preset is not universal compatibility.
Settings now separates TX15, compatible EdgeTX/OpenTX radios and DJI RC3. DJI: M Acro / S Angle / N disarm, fresh inward-stick gesture to arm motors; START/STOP charge arm/safe, PAUSE release/detonation, C1 FPV return, PHOTO disconnect. The right selector and wheel handle vision, camera and radio settings. USB reconnection and TX15/DJI identification are corrected.
Near-ground radio setup: within 10 m of the player, PIT limits simulated output to 25 mW and the radio control cycles analog/digital bands. In flight or beyond 10 m it adjusts VTX power. Fibre/satellite retain their own behaviour.
GET STARTED
Enable this mod and its dependencies, then launch a game once. Windows exports 13 EdgeTX models, the EN/FR guide, the DJI companion source and SHA256.json to your game profile: FPVUltraRealism/RadioProfiles/0.2.5/.
EdgeTX: back up your radio, import only its matching model with Companion, retain your calibration and select USB Joystick. Choose TX15 or the compatible-radio preset at joystick slot 0.
DJI: follow the exported README to install and run the companion, then select the DJI RC3 preset. No vJoy or USBIP needed. PC Windows only for this companion; other DJI controllers are not validated.
