Community Radar #5

Welcome to the latest Arma Reforger Community Radar, or as we also call it: #COMRAD. We're excited to show off another great month of community content for everyone to appreciate. Let's get right into it!

COM-ART

Get your compasses out as we navigate some community artwork. Like this FIA soldier, captured by Matthias Fleischer, who is planning his next move out in the field. Great use of shallow depth of field in this image!

Many lighthouses illuminate the coasts of Everon. As you can see in this stunning photograph by EO, you're bound to spot one even on the stormiest of nights.

There is a lot of strategy and needed patience when it comes to picking the best location for a defensible position or ambush. Pictured here we can see a soldier scanning their horizon with the beautiful light through the trees. Thanks to Barrel for sharing this with us!

As we've highlighted before, the Enfusion engine certainly has a remarkable ability to do wonders with lighting. TMO has captured this effect well in this incredible picture of an Everon forest at dawn.

COM-DEV

Looking for ways to add assets of your own to Reforger? The RHS team has recently provided a small tutorial on YouTube for how to add simple assets to the Enfusion engine. If you're looking for similar documentation, be sure to read up on prop creation on the BIKI here.

For the terrain seekers out there, tanin(69) and his team have created the work-in-progress terrain of Zimnitrita! This roughly 260 km2 map features large forests, rolling wheat fields, and various villages. You can download it now from the in-game Workshop.

The Swedish Forces have hit the Workshop with the SFP Reforger mod! It offers a completely new faction including weapons, uniforms, and with much more content on the way. Watch their trailer here and be sure to try it out for yourself in game.

COM-OPS

For those that haven't noticed already, owners of Reforger on Steam can now download the Arma Reforger Experimental build, a separate Steam client application that maintains a build of experimental content and features. You can read more about the benefits and limitations of the application on our website here and the changelog can be found on our BI Forums. Try out the content for yourself today!

COM-VIDEO

Our team prides itself on creating realistic and immersive environments. One fine example of this was spotted by Cristiferbeast in their latest videos about Everon's northern airfield. You'll get to hear from their father, an electrical engineer in aviation, tell us all about the important details that makes this a functioning airfield in their recent video on YouTube.

Mr_Centipede is at it again in his series of Battle of Six Bells. Using the Game Master game mode features to create the scenarios, they fight to defend the forests against the counterattacking Soviet forces. Watch it on their YouTube channel here.

COM-STREAM

For some heavy milsim action, then you'll want to watch Anoobis2021 over on Twitch. Catch a ride with him as he plays organized operations in Arma Reforger. You can enjoy several of their latest missions also over on his YouTube channel, as well as other tactical gameplay videos.
