PHASELINE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP // WINTERIZE

Bring winter to any scenario, live, from Game Master. No map edits and no mission setup.

HOW IT WORKS
Open Game Master > Edit scenario properties > Weather and tick "Winter".
- The sky turns overcast, fog rolls in and the air turns cold. Rain is held off while winter is active.
- Snow starts falling. It doesn't fall indoors.
- Snow builds up on the ground and on roads over about a minute and a half.
Untick "Winter" and the snow melts away and the weather returns to how it was.

FEATURES
- One-click Game Master toggle, next to the vanilla weather options
- Engine GPU snowfall, wind-driven, hidden indoors
- Ground and road snow cover that builds up and melts
- Reduced grass distance while snow lies, with each player's own setting restored afterwards
- Server-side state, synced to every player, including players who join mid-winter
- Works on any map and any Game Master scenario

PERFORMANCE
Built to stay light. The snowfall is the engine's own GPU effect, and the ground snow is lightweight terrain decals around each player. A dedicated server does no visual work, and nothing runs while winter is off.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS
- Trees and rooftops don't get snow yet.
- Ground snow covers terrain and roads. Some paved yards and building floors stay clear.
- Winter switches off if a Game Master session is saved and reloaded. Tick it again after loading.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

  a) NO EDITING. Do not modify, adapt, translate, retexture, recolour or
rebalance the Mod or any part of it, and do not make derivative works
     from it.
  b) NO DEPENDENCIES. Do not publish or distribute any addon, mod, scenario,

it, or is built on top of it.
  c) NO PATCHING. No other addon may override, extend, replace or hook into
the Mod's scripts, classes, prefabs, configs or other resources. That
covers "modded" classes, prefab or config overrides, inheritance and

The Author may then report the infringing content to the platform it is
hosted on and take any other action the law allows.

6. NO WARRANTY

The Mod is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The Author is not
liable for any damage, data loss or other harm that comes from using it.

If you're unsure whether something is allowed, ask the Author first.
