ACE Trenches Dev

ACE Core Dev

Triad ACE Trenches adds eight field fortifications to the entrenching tool. Each one is an earthwork held up by stakes and horizontal poles, sized after Soviet and US field manuals.

Positions:
- Foxhole, one man
- Foxhole, two men
- MG nest
- AT position, open at the back for the backblast
- Mortar pit
- Squad trench, 8 m
- Wall, 4 m
- Wall, 2 m

How to build:
Equip an entrenching tool, pick a position from its build variants and place the outline on diggable ground. Then dig it out with the building action, the same way as in ACE Trenches. ACE's own trenches stay available.

Good to know:
- Reforger cannot dig into the terrain, so every position is a model on the ground: the floor is at ground level and the parapet rises around it. Firing parapets are about 1.3 m high, a rest for a standing shooter.
- Entrenching tools that inherit from the vanilla one get the positions automatically. The mod has no scripts.

Requires ACE Core and ACE Trenches.

Thanks to the ACE team for ACE Trenches, which this mod builds on.
