Creature Melee AI

A figure roughly twenty-one metres tall has been observed beyond the edge of illuminated ground. Four lamps rise from long, flexible stalks above a body threaded with dark cables and unfamiliar flesh. Their beams search for living humans.

When the lamps gather on a target, their light turns red. A deep warning precedes its advance. Witnesses describe heavy impacts beneath its feet and a sudden close-range strike after the warning ends.

Part of the Creatures collection.

Lumenkin is an early release for Game Master encounters. Four real head-mounted lights, flexible target-seeking necks, warning and impact sounds, and fitted locomotion and melee animations are included. Requires the separately installed Creature Melee AI framework. No Project Outbreak gameplay addon is required.

This release is unfinished. Slow patrol, precise head alignment, the full attack and animation collection, full player control, late joining and broader multiplayer behaviour still need work and testing. A dedicated test passed remote Game Master possession and survival. Expect rough edges. The original sounds remain included alongside the selected hollow warning call.

The owner supplied the Lumenkin model, colour atlas, original rig and animations as a Tripo AI export. Project Outbreak adapted its rig, materials, flexible head motion, lights, animation fitting and gameplay. Tripo terms: https://www.tripo3d.ai/terms. The hollow warning call was made with ElevenLabs; other Lumenkin warning and dread cues were authored by Project Outbreak. ElevenLabs terms: https://elevenlabs.io/terms-of-use.
