SUMMITLIFE COMMUNITY-ONLY LICENSE

Copyright remains with the respective copyright holders of the original
SummitLife material. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
1. SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS
"Licensor" means the copyright holder or holders of the covered material, or
their duly authorized licensing representative acting under the SummitLife
name. The SummitLife name does not by itself identify a separate legal entity.
"Material" means the original code, models, textures, animations, sounds,
prefabs, maps, configurations, interfaces, documentation, and other content
in this addon that the Licensor owns or has authority to license under these
terms. Third-party material and independently granted rights are subject to
Section 7.
"Authorized Community" means a community operated by the Licensor under the
SummitLife name, or expressly approved in writing by the Licensor to use this
addon. "Authorized Server" means a server operated by the Licensor, or a server
expressly covered by that written approval. Using the SummitLife name, joining
a Discord, possessing files, contributing to a project, or obtaining the addon
through the Workshop does not authorize a community or server.
2. LIMITED PERMISSION
Subject to this license, players may obtain the official, unmodified addon
through the official Arma Reforger Workshop listing or another channel
designated by the Licensor, and install and run it solely to participate in
Authorized Communities on Authorized Servers in Arma Reforger.
Operators of Authorized Servers may install and run the official, unmodified
addon solely to provide that authorized community gameplay. They may make
internal backup copies necessary for that operation. Copies, caching, and
updates performed by the game or official Workshop as part of the permitted
installation and use are allowed.
This permission is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable.
It does not grant permission for standalone use, offline experimentation,
development, editing, or use on other servers.
3. NO OTHER COMMUNITY OR SERVER USE
You may not host, load, run, incorporate, or use the Material for any community,
server, project, or service outside the authorization in Section 2. This
restriction applies equally to public, private, local, test, and development
servers, whether or not money changes hands.
Membership in an Authorized Community does not grant permission to operate
another server or reuse the Material elsewhere. Authorization covers only
the communities, servers, purposes, and duration expressly approved.
4. NO MODIFICATION, EXTRACTION, OR REDISTRIBUTION
Except for the necessary technical operations expressly permitted in Section 2
or rights preserved in Section 7, you may not:
- Modify, adapt, translate, port, retexture, rebalance, patch, or otherwise
create derivative works from the Material, even for private use.
- Extract, unpack, decompile, reverse engineer, or separate the Material for
inspection, editing, copying, or reuse.
- Copy or reuse any covered code, asset, map element, configuration, or other
part in another addon, project, game, or service.
- Reupload, mirror, repack, redistribute, share source files, or sublicense
the Material, whether unchanged or modified.
- Publish patches, overrides, conversions, or dependent addons that use the
Material without separate written permission.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, attribution, license notices, or
ownership identifiers, or misrepresent authorship or authorization.
Credit, free distribution, renaming the addon, or changing its GUID does not
provide permission. Community or server approval alone does not authorize
development, modification, publication, or distribution.
5. NONCOMMERCIAL USE AND PRODUCT RESTRICTIONS
Use of the Material for any commercial purpose is expressly prohibited.
Any direct or indirect monetization of the Material is expressly prohibited.
This license grants no monetization permission to any player, server operator,
or Authorized Community.
Use of the Material outside products owned by Bohemia Interactive is expressly
prohibited. Within those products, the only permission granted by this license
is the limited Arma Reforger use described in Section 2.
6. SEPARATE WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION
Any additional permission must be granted expressly in writing by the Licensor
and identify the permitted recipient, material, and activity. Silence,
informal affiliation, past access, or approval from someone without licensing
authority does not constitute permission.
A separate authorization cannot grant rights the Licensor does not hold or
override applicable law, third-party rights, or Bohemia Interactive's terms.
No exception to the commercial or monetization restrictions is granted here.
7. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS, PRIOR LICENSES, AND PLATFORM TERMS
This license does not claim ownership of or replace the licenses of Bohemia
Interactive content, third-party dependencies, third-party contributions
licensed separately, or public-domain material. Their own applicable licenses,
notices, and permissions continue to govern. Restrictions in this license do
not withdraw rights independently available under those terms.
This license does not revoke valid permissions already granted for earlier
releases, including irrevocable public-license permissions. Changing a GUID,
repackaging, or including this file does not cancel those existing rights.
Nothing here restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, or rights
already granted to Bohemia Interactive and its service providers under
applicable game, tools, or Workshop agreements. This license does not limit
the functioning of the official Workshop, including its authorized hosting,
delivery, installation, caching, and updating operations.
All permissions are subject to applicable Bohemia Interactive agreements.
Where a restriction in this license conflicts with a mandatory legal right,
a controlling third-party license, or an applicable platform agreement, that
restriction does not apply to the extent of the conflict.
8. TERMINATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, permissions granted by this license
terminate automatically if you breach its conditions. Server permissions also
end when the applicable written authorization expires or is withdrawn
according to its terms. After termination you must stop the affected use and
remove copies for which you no longer have a valid right of possession or use.
Termination does not cancel rights independently preserved by Section 7.
Permissions terminated for breach are not restored without written approval.
9. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Material is provided
"as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. The Licensor does
not promise continued availability, updates, compatibility, or support.
Liability is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law; this clause
does not exclude liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be
excluded.
10. ACCEPTANCE AND RESERVED RIGHTS
By exercising permissions granted by this license, you accept its conditions.
If you do not accept them, do not exercise those permissions. No ownership,
trademark license, or right to represent SummitLife is transferred.
This is a custom restricted license, not APL, APL-SA, APL-ND, or an
open-source license.
