Pingus WW2 - P-51D and Bf109G

Summary

A basic flight controller AI that
 - Performs a patrol
- strafes player on ID
- Returns after rearm to patrol route

Description

Two AI-flown WW2 fighters — the P-51D Mustang (US) and Bf 109 G (German) — built on a custom kinematic flight model (no vehicle physics): energy-based speed (dives fast, climbs slow), coordinated banking, and a multi-mode autopilot (patrol, dynamic strafing attacks, wingman formation, low flyby). Guns are script-fired real tracer rounds with walking ground-impact dust clouds (Realism Overhaul effects supported). Ships a fully original synthesized engine soundscape: a positional prop-drone loop plus a Doppler flypast that fires exactly as the plane passes overhead. Used by Escapists 1943 (FUBAR) as the enemy air patrol — a lead/wingman pair that buzzes the player, makes strafing runs, and bugs out to rearm. Not player-flyable.
