AIR ASSETS brings friendly AI helicopter control to the KOVA x ATAK tablet. A Game Master places a REAPER helicopter and seats an allied AI pilot; players can then select that aircraft in ATAK, identify it by name and live map marker, and task it directly from the map.

FEATURES

• Send MOVE, LAND and HOVER orders by clicking the ATAK map.
• Build flight plans from visible Congo Tactical Graphics routes, with up to 24 ordered waypoints and optional pickup or landing zones at the endpoints.
• Route new orders around CTG Restricted Operations Zones. Planned detours are shown on the map.
• Keep an aircraft airborne in a racetrack-style HOLD over a map position or CTG point, with visible leg progress.
• Track the selected helicopter, locate it on the map, and see active plan and hold status.
• PARK a landed aircraft to stop its engine, START it again, or let the automatic idle shutdown save fuel after 60 seconds on the ground without orders.
• FAST ROPE, SUPPRESS and ESCORT missions are available when Realistic AI Helicopter Flying is also loaded.

HOW TO USE

1. Enable Air Assets and its required mods on both the server and clients. For a locally hosted session, select Air Assets in Host Server → Mods before starting; enabling it only in Steam launch options does not add it to the hosted mission.
2. As Game Master, place a REAPER-compatible helicopter with a friendly AI pilot in the pilot seat.
3. Open KOVA x ATAK → Settings → Systems → Air Assets. Select the aircraft, choose an order, then click its destination on the ATAK map. The PLAN and HOLD tabs offer route and airborne reserve controls.

CURRENT LIMITS

This release controls helicopters only; A-10 support is not included. Landing-site checks look for nearby clear ground but cannot guarantee the entire approach or prevent every collision. Restricted-zone avoidance is calculated when an order is sent; after changing a CTG zone, resend the order. HOLD uses a repeating set of REAPER move waypoints, so its exact path depends on the AI pilot.
