# LHDF AI

Better AI soldiers for the Lost Hope Dynamic Framework (LHDF), built for the Lost Hope Survival server. Built on vanilla AI: it adjusts what vanilla decides instead of replacing it, so it works next to other mods.

In development: this version is a project skeleton without AI behaviour.

## Planned

- **Combat:** smarter cover and spacing, bounding moves, morale that lowers fire rate, spaced grenades, no shooting into walls.
- **Buildings, roads and water:** soldiers use windows and doors facing the enemy, cross roads quickly and never take cover in water.
- **Doors:** AI closes doors behind it and passes narrow doors one at a time.
- **Game Master overlay:** wireframes around what the AI senses and a panel showing why it decided what it did.

Test world for LHDF AI on vanilla Game Master Everon: 20 US fireteams (80 soldiers) defend houses across Montignac; one USSR rifle squad attacks the town centre from the east. Not for players.
