M4 MAAWS

Laser Rangefinder

WHAT IT FIXES

Crash when the launcher is loaded. The FCS 600 sight points its ranging data at an ammo prefab that is no longer in the mod. Anything that creates the launcher hits it; opening an arsenal box that stocks the MAAWS is the usual way. Two of the three FCS 600 variants are affected, HEAT and HEDP.

Missing reticle overlay on the HE and HEDP sights. Both pointed at texture files that are not in the mod.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

No new content. No balance changes. No scripts. Nothing is added to any faction or arsenal. Three references are repointed at files the mod already ships, and that is all.

NOTES

Verified against M4 MAAWS 0.9.12.

This mod becomes unnecessary the moment the author fixes those three lines, and it will keep overriding their files until you remove it. If a new MAAWS version comes out, try it without this first.

All credit for the launcher goes to Searing Star. This is only a compatibility patch.

CSU M4 MAAWS Fix

Fixes three broken resource references in the M4 MAAWS mod by Searing Star.

M4 MAAWS is required. This mod does nothing on its own.
