CryoFall

CryoFall World
Created and hosted by SquawksHead, part of the wider CryoHost network of survival servers.

An ongoing, persistent PvP survival world combining Everon, Arland and Kolguyev. Arrive from cryostasis with your personal AI agent and claim your place in CryoFall.

Search furniture and containers for supplies, recover transport, build up your equipment, establish a home with a CryoLock and trade at the protected harbour. Your character, stored gear, vehicles and building claims carry over between sessions. Valuable locations come with greater danger. Loot, trade and fight to survive.

Requires the CryoFall core mod and its official Workshop dependencies.

EXCLUSIVE TO CRYOHOST
This world and mission are intended exclusively for the authorized CryoHost CryoFall server. The initial release is password protected for testing. Players may download the official releases to join and rejoin that server; permission to host another server is not granted.

Original CryoFall world arrangements and creations are covered by the included CryoFall Custom Content Licence. Extraction for reuse, redistribution, reuploads and unauthorized hosting are prohibited under that licence, subject to mandatory rights and separately licensed third-party content. Dedicated-server authorization restricts CryoFall gameplay to the approved host.

CRYOFALL CUSTOM CONTENT LICENCE
Version 1.0 - 2 October 2026

Use only authorized on the CryoHost CryoFall server.
Authorized production instance: bc7bbef1-3747-4b40-a4d2-e79991c2bfa3.
Licensor/contact: SquawksHead, operator of CryoHost, through the official
CryoHost Discord: https://discord.gg/gs2kQakAkt.

1. Scope and ownership
This licence covers only the original CryoFall material for which the Licensor
has the necessary rights, including original scripts, world arrangements,
interfaces, artwork, models, textures and sound effects. Ownership remains
with their respective rights holders. Downloading the Content transfers no
ownership. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Bohemia Interactive game content, separately licensed dependencies,
third-party works and public-domain/CC0 material retain their own terms.
This licence does not replace their licences, withdraw their permissions,
or claim exclusive rights over their content, ideas, APIs or functionality.
Existing third-party attribution and licence notices must be preserved.

2. Permission to play
You may download and retain the official, unmodified Workshop release and
its updates on your personal devices solely to join, play and rejoin the
authorized CryoHost CryoFall server using a lawfully acquired Arma Reforger.
Normal game/Workshop installation, caching, verification, loading and
automatic processing needed for that purpose are permitted. Gameplay
screenshots, recordings and broadcasts remain subject to Bohemia's content
usage rules; this licence grants no separate commercial permission.

Only the Licensor and collaborators expressly authorized in writing may
use source material or private development/test instances. Permission to
play does not grant permission to operate another dedicated or listen
server, including a renamed, mirrored, cloned or replacement instance.

3. No extraction, reuse or redistribution
Except for the permitted normal game operation in section 2, mandatory
legal rights, and separately licensed material described in section 1,
you may not, without prior written permission from the Licensor:
- unpack, decrypt, decompile, extract or reconstruct protected CryoFall
  material for reuse, modification or redistribution;
- copy protected creations into another mod, mission, world, product,
  server pack, asset library or other project;
- alter, adapt, retexture, convert, rebrand, mirror, upload, share,
  redistribute or sublicense protected material, in whole or in part;
- use another upload, intermediary or server to evade these restrictions;
- remove attribution, licence notices or authorization protections, or
circumvent them to enable unauthorized hosting or reuse.

Nothing here prevents automatic distribution, storage, delivery or other
operation by Bohemia Interactive and its authorized service providers as
required by the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms of Use and permissions granted
to Bohemia by the uploader. This licence does not hinder Workshop operation.

4. Commercial and platform restrictions
This licence explicitly prohibits use of the Content for commercial
purposes and prohibits direct or indirect monetization of the Content.
It grants no permission to sell, rent, charge for, monetize or commercially
license the Content, its parts or access to it. The Content may not be used
outside Bohemia Interactive products; the end-user permission in section 2
is limited to Arma Reforger.

The operator's separately held Bohemia server-monetization approval does
not grant commercial rights to downloaders or other server operators and
does not alter Bohemia's terms or third-party licences. Any activity covered
by separate Bohemia approval must comply with that approval and the rules
then in force; this document is not such approval.

5. Applicable terms and rights
Use must also comply with the applicable Arma Reforger EULA, Tools EULA and
Workshop Terms of Use. Nothing in this licence limits mandatory statutory
rights or permissions that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
It does not revoke permissions validly granted for previously released
versions under another licence.

Permission under this licence ends upon material breach, subject to any
mandatory legal protections. No additional use is authorized by silence.
The Content is provided as-is, without warranties to the extent permitted
by law; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

# CryoFall audio sources

The custom sound effects are original procedural synthesis or CC0 recordings. Commercial use of the CC0 sources is permitted without royalties. The new box placement sound is wholly synthesised for this project. It contains no external samples.

- Eating: StarNinjas / Tito, CC0, https://opengameart.org/content/7-eating-crunches
- Drinking: qubodup, CC0, https://opengameart.org/content/liquid-bottle-drink-set
- Mechanical lock latch: xkeril, CC0, https://freesound.org/people/xkeril/sounds/815492/
- Narration: generated with Kokoro-82M, British female bf_emma. The model is Apache-2.0, https://huggingface.co/hexgrad/Kokoro-82M . No model weights or voice embeddings are redistributed in this addon. The transporter layer is original procedural Beam 9 synthesis.
- Lock tones, CryoPod placement, box placement and beam effects: original procedural synthesis retained in project authoring scripts.

The manifest identifies every shipped WAV and its hash. Source notices for the latch and consumption sounds remain in their original folders.

Native Reforger command voices, interface sounds and mixer resources are referenced from the base game. They are not CC0 recordings and are not copied into this mod; their use remains subject to Bohemia's game/modding terms. This audit does not grant commercial rights to the base game itself.

CRF_AssetPack.wav is original deterministic procedural rustle audio created for CryoFall. It contains no third-party recordings or samples and may be used commercially with the project.

R117: CryoBox/CryoCrate placement uses an original short contact thud and settling tap. CryoLock removal uses an original compact pickup/hand-contact sound. Both are procedural, contain no third-party samples and may be used commercially. CryoPod placement audio is unchanged.
