EXPBG Ambient Sounds
by M.Pac
0.2.3
- Fix radio/crowd Random recording controls by translating native dropdown row indices to stable recording IDs and back. - Start all new War, Crowd, radio and TV placements disabled; preserve explicitly saved configurations. - Support the native session-attribute contract used by CDF saves. Store canonical recording IDs and validate restored fields as one deferred authoritative batch; retain interactive GM checks. - Add opt-in `-easDiagnostics 1` server/client configuration, activation, scheduling, actual playback/cleanup and bounded timing summaries through existing runtime callbacks. - Use physical radio/TV renders as world icons, simple War/Crowd symbols, separate module cards and a clean corner emblem; scope scene markers to the vanilla generic object's 24-unit size. - Add the existing numeric EXPBG editor label 157026 to all seven editable war, crowd, radio and TV prefabs, including the legacy red radio. - Preserve category/filter labels, object factions and dependencies. The optional EXPBG filter provider can group these entries; standalone Sounds does not register or require that provider. - Fit the approved War illustration to a landscape Workshop cover without cutoff; use matching War/Crowd cards with one embedded emblem, native uncompressed UI imports and recognizable physical object previews. - Shorten the listing to feature bullets and the requested internal-use first line. Use the explicitly approved Custom license with that exact notice; preserve upstream notices. CLI publication requires matching approved remote listing metadata before upload.

0.2.2
- Reimport the existing Ambient Sounds artwork as uncompressed UI pixels to correct corrupted war/crowd catalog previews and radio/TV EXPBG badges. Keep the source artwork, texture GUID and native object thumbnails. - Put the existing radio Enabled switch first, clarify its stop/start behavior, and retain recording, volume and loop settings while disabled. - Add native tests for all three catalog radios through repeated disable/edit/enable, distance sleep/wake and deletion; strengthen remote join coverage with a disabled, nonzero-volume radio. - Audio recordings, playback budgets, save schema and dependencies are unchanged.

0.2.1
- Add a matching yellow-and-black Ambient Sounds badge with the EXPBG crest, loudspeaker and battlefield landscape. - Preserve the native texture GUID and radio/TV object thumbnails; update module cards, EXPBG badges and Workshop preview. - Refresh the Workshop description for the war categories, mixes, radios, crowd, emergency TV and measured limits introduced in 0.2.0. - Gameplay code, settings, audio files and dependencies are unchanged from 0.2.0.

0.2.0
- Release inaudible war voices individually; use the two-second finite-player cadence outside actual hearing range and reuse activation snapshots per scan. - Prevent a long recording overlapping itself, including after a duration-only edit, while retaining interruption/reentry behavior and overlap between different recordings. - Apply quieter new-placement presets: distant Low war, faction-appropriate military radio recordings, conversational crowd at 40 m, and TV repeat pause of 120 s. - Add bounded client/headless performance measurements with 32 war plus 32 finite modules, real playback, source-range exits and deletion checks. - Organize 47 cataloged audio files into war effects, distant war mixes, radio transmissions, crowd, and reserved sound effects; retain existing resource GUIDs. There are 46 runtime bindings and one reserved Windows XP effect. - Remove SKS Dense and SKS Short. Add the selected close/distant firefights, distant shelling, four war-mix choices, two unchanged JSRS near explosions, three radio recordings, four crowd recordings and the TV emergency alert. - Prepare 16 full recordings as 24 kHz mono PCM16, reducing 585.3 MB to 255.8 MB with edge ramps and attenuation-only headroom; keep original files and all 14 JSRS PCM recordings unchanged. - Add independent Near/Distant/Random recording choices, radio language-group random selection, a crowd module and a TV alert player with configurable looping pauses. - Record the owner's explicit Workshop redistribution confirmation for 12 supplied recordings, bound to source hashes; retain separate third-party licenses and source-file restrictions. - Rename the placeable Ambient War Module; independent gunshots, explosions, jet and premixed category switches, with recording selectors independent of spatial spread. - Shared two-second player/GM-camera activation: 3000 m ambient, 1000 m radio, client listener cutoff, bounded owned cleanup and preserved run/once-only state. - Four independent category schedules within existing global voice/start caps; native saved-schema migration and GM debug activation/spread/audibility spheres. - Isolate global scenario controls from EXPBG ambient/radio entity dialogs. - Three catalogue radio props: Small Black, AN/GRC-160 and R123M, with native thumbnails and EXPBG trait badge; retain Red for saved missions. - Default-on Loop control, schema-1 save migration and seven additional complete radio recordings. - Recover from transient radio start failures with bounded per-radio retries instead of disabling the recording mission-wide. - Overlapping ambient sounds at independent spread positions, bounded to two/three per module by intensity and four war voices overall. - Remove Mosin Report, Distant Hunting Reports, Designed Report and CZ Report from the bank and package. - Add twelve unchanged JSRS recordings under separate APL-ND notices, with playback-only attenuation and source PCM verification. DynaSound and remaining audition options stay outside the shipped bank.
