Description
1. SCOPE
"Mod" means ARCL Events and its original scripts, configurations, artwork and
documentation supplied with this license. "Authorized Servers" means servers
operated for and controlled by ARCL and expressly designated by the Licensor;
the current designated game servers are ARCL NA1 and ARCL EU1. Membership in
ARCL, possession of a download, or possession of a key does not authorize a
person to operate an additional server using the Mod.
2. LIMITED PERMISSIONS
Subject to this license and the applicable Bohemia Interactive terms:
(a) Players may download the Mod from its official ARCL Workshop listing,
install and retain the copies necessary for normal Workshop delivery,
caching and updates, and load the unmodified Mod solely to connect to
and play on Authorized Servers within Arma Reforger.
(b) ARCL administrators expressly authorized by the Licensor may install,
configure, operate and back up the Mod for Authorized Servers.
(c) ARCL developers expressly authorized by the Licensor may maintain, test
and modify the Mod internally for ARCL. Only persons authorized by the
Licensor may publish official ARCL updates.
These permissions are non-exclusive, royalty-free and non-transferable, and
do not permit sublicensing except as required for normal Workshop operation.
3. RESTRICTIONS
Unless separately authorized in writing by the Licensor, you may not:
(a) host, run, deploy or use the Mod on any other server or for another
community, including by impersonating an Authorized Server;
(b) reupload, mirror, sell, share, distribute or bundle the Mod or any
substantial portion of it, whether unchanged or modified, other than
the official distribution and necessary technical copies allowed above;
(c) modify, adapt, create derivatives of, extract and reuse protected parts
of the Mod, or publish modified versions;
(d) bypass or disable the Mod's authorization controls to obtain use not
permitted by this license, share server credentials with unauthorized
persons, or remove applicable copyright and license notices;
(e) claim ownership of the Mod or imply an ARCL endorsement not granted.
These restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Ordinary settings changes by authorized ARCL administrators are permitted.
4. NON-COMMERCIAL AND BOHEMIA-ONLY USE
Commercial use of the Mod is prohibited. Direct or indirect monetization of
the Mod is prohibited. Use of the Mod outside Bohemia Interactive products
is prohibited; the permissions in this license are limited to Arma Reforger.
ARCL membership or written permission under section 3 does not waive these
requirements or any mandatory Bohemia Interactive restriction.
5. WORKSHOP, THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS AND LEGAL EXCEPTIONS
This license permits Bohemia Interactive to host and deliver the Mod through
the official Workshop listing as contemplated by the applicable Workshop
terms. It does not restrict normal Workshop functioning or override rights
granted to Bohemia Interactive under applicable platform agreements.
Bohemia Interactive game content, third-party components and trademarks
remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses. This license
does not claim ownership of them, relicense them, or restrict independently
licensed material beyond the rights the Licensor actually holds.
Mandatory law, non-waivable exceptions and applicable Bohemia Interactive
terms prevail to the extent of a conflict. No broader rights are granted by
implication. This Mod is not represented as an official Bohemia product.
6. TELEMETRY AND PRIVACY
The Mod can record gameplay, player identifiers and supported chat, including
commands and private channels. Server operators remain responsible for
lawful processing, player notices, access controls, retention and security.
This content license is not player consent or a substitute for a privacy
notice, and does not transfer ownership of players' messages to the Licensor.
7. TERMINATION
To the extent permitted by law, the permissions granted here terminate upon
breach of this license. You must then stop unauthorized use and distribution
and remove unauthorized copies, except copies retained as required by law.
Reinstatement requires the Licensor's written authorization. Terms protecting
ownership, third-party rights and applicable legal limitations survive.
8. NO WARRANTY
The Mod is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted service,
complete event capture, error-free statistics or suitability for a particular
purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the Licensor excludes warranties
and liability arising from use of the Mod. Nothing excludes liability or
rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
