Summary
Map- and faction-independent Advance and Secure framework providing server-authoritative sequential objectives, frontline calculation and live player-based capture logic.
Description
SCHILDAAS
Advance and Secure Game Mode Framework for the SCHILDWERK Arma Reforger Community.
Created by Aim3r
A SCHILDWERK / SWRK Project
ABOUT
SCHILDAAS is a reusable, map-independent and faction-independent Advance and Secure framework for Arma Reforger.
It provides the server-authoritative route, objective, frontline and capture systems required by SCHILDWERK AAS scenarios.
Maps, factions, deployment systems, supplies, vehicle restrictions and scenario-specific settings are provided by separate consumer projects such as SchildKunarAAS.
CORE FEATURES
• Sequential Advance and Secure objective routes
• Server-authoritative capture evaluation
• Configurable faction keys for both opposing sides
• Configurable objective names and identifiers
• Configurable capture radius and capture duration
• Neutral and faction-owned starting objectives
• Protected mainbase endpoints
• Automatic active-front calculation
• Maximum of two active frontline objectives
• Contested objective handling
• Capture-progress rollback
• Configurable minimum players required to capture
• Route and objective configuration validation
• Support for players on foot and inside vehicles
• Exclusion of AI, dead, unconscious and invalid characters
• Player deduplication for reliable capture counts
• Efficient trigger-based capture candidate tracking
• Multiplayer and dedicated-server compatible foundation
ROUTE STRUCTURE
An AAS route consists of:
• One mainbase for Side A
• One or more capturable objectives
• One mainbase for Side B
Objectives are ordered using configurable route and objective indices.
Only the objectives forming the current frontline are evaluated for capture, creating the sequential Advance and Secure flow.
CAPTURE BEHAVIOUR
Only connected players belonging to one of the configured opposing factions can influence an objective.
Enemy presence contests the objective.
Uncontested attackers generate capture progress when the configured minimum player requirement is met.
Defenders can stop or roll back hostile capture progress.
Additional players do not automatically increase the capture speed unless this behaviour is implemented by a consumer scenario.
IMPORTANT
SCHILDAAS is a gameplay framework and does not provide a complete standalone public scenario.
The following systems are intentionally supplied by separate scenario or integration projects:
• Maps and terrain
• Concrete faction definitions
• Deployment and respawn systems
• Arsenal and vehicle catalogs
• Supplies and logistics
• FOB systems
• Tickets
• Scenario markers and user interface
• Administrative and medical systems
• Scenario-specific victory presentation
A compatible consumer scenario such as SchildKunarAAS is required for the complete playable experience.
DEPENDENCIES
SCHILDAAS requires:
• Arma Reforger
• SchildCore
Additional dependencies are supplied by the scenario using SCHILDAAS.
