Test build: top-center admin announcements with selectable durations, without ending the scenario.
Description
An independent announcement addon for persistent Cold War campaigns and Game Master sessions.
Server admins can display MISSION SUCCESS, MISSION FAILED, or a general announcement at the top center of players' screens. Announcements do not end or reset the scenario.
Commands:
#cwa success default Objective secured. Return to base.
#cwa failed 30 Operation failed. Withdraw to base.
#cwa message 60 Combat is over. Begin debrief.
Durations: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 seconds. Use default for 20 seconds.
Local dismissal: /cwahide
Admin access is required; GM permission alone is insufficient. Install the same addon version on the server and clients. No dependency on Admin Messages or other third-party mods.
TEST BUILD 0.1.0: top-center display and rejection of non-admin senders have been confirmed in Workbench testing. Multi-client delivery, dedicated-server behavior, and compatibility with a full campaign mod list are still being tested.
