End User License Agreement (EULA)

IMPORTANT: READ THIS AGREEMENT BEFORE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE LICENSED PROJECT.
BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE LICENSED PROJECT, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS EULA.

1. DEFINITIONS

"Licensed Project" means any mod, addon, software package, content pack, or other project distributed or published by Vice Life RP that includes a copy of this EULA. It includes Vice Life RP's original software, code, scripts, systems, configurations, prefabs, models, meshes, materials, textures, sounds, documentation, and other original contributions, but excludes Third-Party Material.

"Authorized Server" means a multiplayer server operated by Vice Life RP or a server for which Vice Life RP has issued prior explicit written authorization to use the applicable Licensed Project.

"Third-Party Material" means any material included in, used by, or referenced by a Licensed Project that is owned or licensed by Bohemia Interactive or another third party. Known Third-Party Material should be identified in a THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt file distributed with the applicable Licensed Project.

2. LIMITED END-USER LICENSE

Subject to full compliance with this EULA, Vice Life RP grants an individual end user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and run an unmodified copy of the applicable Licensed Project solely:

(a) within the Bohemia Interactive game or product for which the Licensed Project was officially published;
(b) for personal, noncommercial entertainment or local testing; and
(c) when participating in multiplayer, only in connection with an Authorized Server.

This license permits the ordinary downloading, updating, caching, and other technical copying performed automatically by the official Bohemia Interactive Workshop or game platform when needed to use the Licensed Project as authorized above. No ownership rights are transferred.

3. SERVER USE REQUIRES WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION

No person, community, company, server operator, or other entity may host, load, enable, require, deploy, or otherwise use a Licensed Project on a multiplayer server unless that server is an Authorized Server for that Licensed Project.

This restriction expressly includes every independently operated "Life," roleplay, economy, police, emergency-services, or similar community server, whether public or private, free or paid. Listing a Licensed Project as a dependency, adding it to a server preset or modpack, distributing it to players, or using any portion of it on a server constitutes server use and requires prior explicit written authorization from Vice Life RP.

Authorization must be issued in writing by an authorized representative of Vice Life RP. Permission may be conditioned, limited, or revoked according to its written terms. Bohemia Interactive server monetization approval, Workshop availability, possession of a downloaded copy, or access to a Licensed Project's files does not constitute Vice Life RP authorization.

4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Except where Vice Life RP gives prior explicit written authorization, you may not, directly or indirectly:

(a) copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, transmit, mirror, reupload, repack, bundle, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise make a Licensed Project or any Vice Life RP-owned portion available to another person or service;

(b) modify, adapt, translate, port, convert, merge, build upon, or create derivative works from a Licensed Project or any Vice Life RP-owned portion;

(c) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, data-mine, extract, rip, or otherwise obtain or reuse a Licensed Project's source code, scripts, systems, configurations, prefabs, models, meshes, materials, textures, sounds, designs, or other Vice Life RP-owned content, except to the limited extent that applicable law does not permit this restriction;

(d) use any portion of a Licensed Project in another mod, addon, game, project, server, product, service, repository, training dataset, or content pack;

(e) remove, obscure, alter, or misrepresent copyright, attribution, license, branding, or proprietary notices;

(f) falsely claim authorship, ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or permission; or

(g) bypass or interfere with technical restrictions intended to control access to or use of a Licensed Project.

5. NONCOMMERCIAL USE ONLY

A Licensed Project may not be used for any direct or indirect commercial purpose. Prohibited commercial use includes monetized servers; paid access; subscriptions; paid whitelisting or priority; donation-reward systems; sales of items, currency, benefits, or services; advertising or sponsorship tied to access or use; and any other use intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation.

Bohemia Interactive monetization approval does not waive this restriction or grant permission from Vice Life RP.

6. OWNERSHIP AND RESERVED RIGHTS

Vice Life RP retains all right, title, and interest that it owns in its original contributions to each Licensed Project, including applicable copyright and other intellectual-property rights. All rights not expressly granted by this EULA are reserved.

Third-Party Material remains owned by its respective rights holders and is governed by its applicable license or terms. This EULA does not claim ownership of Third-Party Material and does not impose additional restrictions where the applicable third-party license prohibits doing so. If this EULA conflicts with a third-party license, the third-party license controls only for the affected Third-Party Material.

7. TERMINATION

Your rights under this EULA terminate automatically if you violate any term. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using every affected Licensed Project and delete all copies in your possession or control, except for copies the official Workshop or game platform retains automatically and does not permit you to remove.

Termination does not limit Vice Life RP's right to seek removal, injunctive relief, damages, or any other remedy available under applicable law. A failure or delay by Vice Life RP to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EVERY LICENSED PROJECT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. VICE LIFE RP DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPATIBILITY, SECURITY, AND ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. USE OF A LICENSED PROJECT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VICE LIFE RP AND ITS MEMBERS, CONTRIBUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, GAME PROGRESS, OR SERVER AVAILABILITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO A LICENSED PROJECT OR THIS EULA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE PRODUCTS AND REAL-WORLD USE

Each Licensed Project is intended solely for entertainment use within the Bohemia Interactive game or product for which it was officially published. It may not be converted or used outside Bohemia Interactive products and is not intended for real-world, law-enforcement, emergency-services, military, or other professional training.

No Licensed Project is affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Bohemia Interactive unless an applicable project's official distribution page expressly states otherwise. Arma Reforger, Arma, Enfusion, and related names and marks are the property of their respective owners.

11. GENERAL TERMS

This EULA and the documents it expressly incorporates constitute the agreement governing the licensed use of Vice Life RP-owned portions of each Licensed Project. If any provision is held unenforceable, it shall be limited or reformed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

Any exception, server authorization, or separate license must be explicit and in writing from an authorized representative of Vice Life RP. Requests for authorization must be made through the official Vice Life RP contact method identified on the applicable Licensed Project's official distribution page.

If a THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt file accompanies a Licensed Project, see that file for project-specific attribution and licenses that continue to apply to identified material.
