Motor pools stop being free. Every vehicle you request is paid for in experience, so a rank is something you spend as well as something you earn.
PRICING
The price is derived from the vehicle's own supply cost, so it scales sensibly across the whole arsenal and works with modded vehicles out of the box - a UAZ is pocket change, a tank is a serious decision. The XP price is shown on the asset card next to the supply cost, before you commit.
You are never pushed below zero: if the price is more than you have, it takes what you have and stops there.
BRINGING THEM BACK
Park a vehicle at your main base and you are refunded part of its price - provided you actually brought it from somewhere, not just circled the depot. A captured enemy vehicle pays considerably more, since you never paid for it: stealing transport becomes a mission worth running.
RANKS
Adds Colonel and General above Major, so there is still something to climb toward once the vehicles start costing real experience.
