JB's FF Tweaks

A small gameplay and construction addon for Freedom Fighters, focused on starting equipment and making factories more useful.

CONSTRUCTION SHOVEL ON FRESH SPAWNS
Fresh player loadouts receive the FF ALICE construction shovel after their selected spawn equipment is applied. The addon prefers an equipment slot and falls back to available inventory space. An existing FF construction tool is kept without adding a duplicate. Reconnecting to a saved character preserves that character's existing inventory.

FOB ARSENALS AT CONNECTED FACTORIES
Build the FF FOB arsenal at a friendly factory when a friendly settlement linked to that factory has working CAP Logistics Tier I or higher. Tier II and III also qualify. It uses the normal factory supplies and arsenal shop connection, costs 200 supplies, and retains the limit of one arsenal per area.

The logistics requirement applies when building a new arsenal. An existing arsenal remains if the settlement or its upgrade is later lost. Fully destroyed or capture-disabled logistics cannot unlock new construction.

TEN PREPARED FACTORY DEFENSES
• PKM sandbag emplacement — 150 supplies
• PKMN sandbag emplacement — 150 supplies
• PKMN + 1P29 sandbag emplacement — 175 supplies
• PKM nest — 200 supplies
• NSV sandbag emplacement — 250 supplies
• NSV nest — 300 supplies
• NSV + SPP sandbag emplacement — 275 supplies
• NSV + SPP nest — 325 supplies
• AA NSV + SPP emplacement — 350 supplies
• Czech hedgehog — 25 supplies

These are complete prepared positions with mounted guns and cover. The larger nests add surrounding props; the AA layout includes sandbags, earth berms and camouflage netting. Each hedgehog is one steel obstacle. The PKMN variants combine vanilla guns with the prepared PKM sandbag layout.

These defenses are available at factories without a logistics upgrade. FF's normal access, placement, supply costs and total area limit still apply. Guns include their native starting ammunition; provide your own crew and further ammunition. Construction uses the FF shovel menu and disassembly actions. Child-turret persistence also tracks spare ammunition.

SETUP
Load this addon on the server and all clients, together with Freedom Fighters: Civil Administration Project (CAP), Freedom Fighters, Reoccupation and their required dependencies. Start your usual Freedom Fighters scenario. No separate scenario or new key binding is required. Equip the FF construction shovel to access construction at an eligible friendly factory.

STATUS
Initial 0.1.0 testing release. Native Workbench packaging passed. Two source audits and a separate packed-build audit passed 142 checks each, including the installed GTX-listed stack. They cover spawning, construction registration, arsenal eligibility and ammunition serialization/restoration. Live multiplayer placement, gun operation and full campaign restart behavior remain under playtest. Static placement previews use simplified gun silhouettes.

CREDITS
Community addon by JB, building on Freedom Fighters, Reoccupation and CAP. Original game assets and the Freedom Fighters victory-hand identity belong to their respective creators. Includes AI-assisted code and generated promotional artwork. Independent community project.
