Milsim HUD strips the Vanilla HUD back to what you actually need, without breaking the things you still rely on. It's fully client-side and every player chooses their own setup. Perfect for taking epic screenshots to dump into Discord after an operation.

--------------------------
HOW IT WORKS
--------------------------
Press I (rebindable under Settings > Controls > Milsim HUD) to switch Milsim HUD on or off. When it's off, you get the normal Vanilla HUD. Milsim HUD always starts off when you launch the game.

All options live in Settings > Interface, under the Milsim HUD heading at the bottom of the tab.

--------------------------
SCREENSHOT MODE
--------------------------
If Milsim HUD is customised to show any HUD element, you can use the Hide all HUD elements keybind (unbound by default) to get the perfect screenshot without reconfiguring your minimal HUD. Chat still appears while you're typing, and pressing the Milsim HUD toggle brings the HUD back.

--------------------------
ALWAYS HIDDEN (while Milsim HUD is on)
- Nametags
- Weapon info (ammo, fire mode, zeroing)
- Vehicle info
- FPS, server FPS, latency, packet loss, server name and game version
- XP and rank popups
- Task list

--------------------------
TOGGLEABLE (while Milsim HUD is on)
- Chat (default: Hide). Messages don't pop up on screen, but pressing your chat key still opens chat so you can read and reply.
- Notifications (default: Hide). The notification feed and on-screen popups.
- Controls hints (default: Hide). The on-screen key prompts.
- Voice communication UI (default: Show). The radio and voice indicators.
- Weapon bar (default: Hide). The number-key hotbar. Switching weapons still works, and the hold-to-open weapon radial is never hidden.
- Coalition Squad Interface (default: Hide). Only appears when CSI is loaded, see below.
- ADS Sway (default: Hide). Only appears when ADS Sway is loaded, see below.

--------------------------
NEVER HIDDEN
- Health and damage effects (bleeding, unconscious, etc.)
- The interaction menu (hold F on downed players, vehicles, etc.)
- Radial menus (radio, commanding, weapon radial)
- Context hints and nearby interaction icons (these still follow your normal Vanilla settings)

While Milsim HUD is on, the Vanilla Interface options it controls are locked so you can see what it's doing. Your own Vanilla settings are never changed, so switching Milsim HUD off brings back exactly what you had before.

--------------------------
OPTIONAL MODS
--------------------------
Milsim HUD has no dependencies. These mods get their own option in the Milsim HUD settings when they're loaded alongside it.

COALITION SQUAD INTERFACE (CSI)
Shows or hides the whole CSI HUD: compass, radar, squad list and stamina. With it shown, CSI's own settings tab still works as normal.

ADS SWAY
Shows or hides the ADS Sway dots and arm stamina bar.

--------------------------
LOAD ORDER (IMPORTANT FOR OPTIONAL MODS)
If you're using any of the optional mods, make sure Milsim HUD is loaded AFTER all of them. If the order is wrong nothing breaks, but that mod's option won't appear and its HUD will always show.

--------------------------
STUCK? RESET IT
Type /resetmhud in chat to put every Milsim HUD setting back to its default and turn off Hide all HUD elements. Only you see it, and it's never sent to other players.

--------------------------
CONSOLE / CONTROLLER
The Milsim HUD toggle and Hide all HUD elements have no controller keybind configured by default. Bind them yourself under Settings > Controls > Milsim HUD, or switch Milsim HUD on and off in Settings > Interface > Milsim HUD. If you can't use chat, the Interface Settings rows can reset everything /resetmhud does.

--------------------------
SERVER INFO
Milsim HUD is purely client-side. It does nothing on servers and sends nothing over the network. There are no server settings to configure.

Milsim HUD was built for use by the Oceania Tactical milsim unit - https://oceaniatactical.com/ for details.
