Persistent Vehicle Garage — Workshop notes
Garage Terminal book appears in Foggy CIV / pink arsenal boxes (Equipment catalog).
Book stays a one-use hotbar placeable; placed desk is the garage terminal.
Store list shows locked CarKey2 vehicles as (LOCKED) and will not store them.
Only unlocked vehicles can be stored.
Retrieve restores the same CarKey2 key ID and door code; the car comes out unlocked; the original key still works.
Raid hack still clears the CarKey2 claim.
Garage menu no longer closes by itself on first open.
Requires CarKey2.
Do not store cars that were parked before this update if you need the old key back — store them again after this push so the key is saved.

Garage — book / place update
Garage Terminal book works from hotbar: hold it, preview, place with R.
Preview faces the player (180° fix).
Q / E rotate the preview 5° per tap.
Mouse wheel raises / lowers the preview in small steps. R plants at that position and heading.
Cannot place inside another garage within 100 m.
Placement blocked when the preview hits walls, buildings, or terrain. Grass does not block.
Ghost uses the ghost prefab when set; otherwise the desk mesh.
Green / red tint if the ghost has ParametricMaterialInstanceComponent.
Book is a light 1×1 inventory item (HAND_SLOT_ITEM), pick up from the ground.
Known
Page Up / Page Down do not move height (weapon-zeroing bind). Use the mouse wheel.
Entity Browser will not list the book until an editable prefab is generated and this Workshop item is updated. Spawn with Entity Spawner / admin tools: Prefabs/Garage/ROR_GarageTerminalBook.et.
