A squad of up to six operators is sent in to clear a hostile-held area and find a rigged radio bomb before it goes off. Every round is different: the bomb site, enemy positions, barricaded doors and patrol routes are chosen at random when the round starts.
OBJECTIVES
-Defuse the Bomb: find the radio and hold to defuse it before the timer runs out
-Eliminate All: classic Terrorist Hunt, clear every hostile
-Defuse and Eliminate: do both, in any order
HOSTILE AI
-Hostiles guard rooms, patrol between positions, or hunt the players
-Guards always protect the bomb
-Getting close to the bomb raises the alarm and nearby hostiles converge on it
-Opening doors and breaching draw hostiles to investigate
-When only a few are left, the survivors stop waiting and come hunting for you
BREACH AND CLEAR
-Barricaded doors near the objective need a breaching charge: place it, hear it arm and tick down, then stack up and go
-Flashbangs (custom M84-style model) blind and stun hostiles and players who can see the blast, with ear ringing and muffled hearing for anyone caught close
OPERATORS
-Pick a kit in the deploy menu: Assaulter, Breacher, Team Lead, Medic, Marksman, Grenadier or Support
-Limited roles are capped per team
-Limited lives (one by default, Rainbow Six style). Out of lives? Spectate your teammates with a chase camera
DIFFICULTY
-Normal, Hard and Realistic presets, or Custom
-Presets change the hostile count, AI skill, time limit, lives, barricades and whether the hostile counter is shown
GAME MASTER ROUND SETUP
-At the start, the scenario waits 30 seconds for a Game Master (or a logged-in admin)
-If one is there, they get a Round Setup screen: difficulty, objective, hostile count and skill, time limit, lives, barricaded doors, flashbangs, the map search area, the hostile counter, time of day and weather (each can be set or randomised)
-The round starts when they press Confirm. With no Game Master, it starts on the default settings
ALSO INCLUDED
-A search area circle on the map that steers players toward the target building without giving away the bomb’s position
-An end-of-round scoreboard with kills, deaths, accuracy and round time
-A dedicated-server difficulty override through the mission header (m_iTerrorHuntDifficulty)
FOR MISSION MAKERS
-Workbench plugins set up a Terror Hunt scenario on any terrain: place the game mode, bomb sites and enemy spawn points, and generate the mission header
-Every setting can be adjusted on the game mode component
INCLUDED SCENARIOS: Arland, Cain, Eden
