WOLFPACK SECURITY LICENSE (WPSL)
Version 1.0 — 2026

1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The WolfPack Security License (WPSL) establishes the conditions for using, extending, and distributing compatible add-ons for modifications developed and published by WolfPack Security.

WPSL is intended to protect original creative work while encouraging independent development, community collaboration, and compatibility between Arma Reforger modifications.

This license applies to all current and future WPS projects that explicitly identify WPSL as their governing license.

Covered content may include scripts, source code, models, textures, materials, animations, prefabs, configurations, user interfaces, documentation, and other original materials owned or licensed for distribution by WolfPack Security.

Third-party content remains subject to its respective license.

2. COMMUNITY AND GAMEPLAY USE

Users are permitted to download, install, and use officially distributed WPS modifications for their intended purposes.

Permitted activities include:

- Using WPS modifications on public and private Arma Reforger servers.
- Creating and playing custom scenarios, missions, and Game Master operations.
- Using WPS modifications in community events and organized gameplay.
- Recording and sharing gameplay footage, screenshots, tutorials, and livestreams, subject to applicable platform and game terms.
- Making personal adjustments to WPS content for private use, provided modified WPS files are not publicly distributed.

These permissions do not grant ownership of WPS content or permission to redistribute its protected files.

3. INDEPENDENT DEVELOPMENT AND DEPENDENCIES

WolfPack Security supports developers who wish to create original modifications that expand upon or interact with WPS projects.

Developers are permitted to create and publicly distribute their own original add-ons, extensions, compatibility patches, and integrations that use officially released WPS modifications as dependencies.

Permitted development methods include:

- Creating original scripts that interact with WPS systems.
- Extending functionality through supported inheritance and scripting methods.
- Creating configuration overrides and compatibility patches.
- Adding new features, interfaces, or functionality through independent add-ons.
- Developing additional content designed to work alongside existing WPS modifications.

Independent dependency-based add-ons may reference and extend WPS functionality through original code, supported inheritance, APIs, and configuration overrides.

This permission does not authorize copying substantial portions of protected WPS source code, models, textures, or other assets.

These permissions are subject to the following conditions:

1. The add-on must be independently developed and must not contain unauthorized copies of protected WPS files or assets.
2. The original WPS modification must remain a separate dependency where required.
3. The developer must provide appropriate credit to WolfPack Security.
4. The add-on must not falsely claim to be an official WPS release or endorsed project.
5. The add-on must comply with applicable Bohemia Interactive terms and third-party licenses.

Developers do not need to request advance permission to create or publish independent dependency-based add-ons that comply with these conditions.

4. CREDIT AND CREATOR RECOGNITION

WolfPack Security requires appropriate attribution when another developer publicly distributes an add-on, extension, or compatibility patch specifically designed to depend on WPS content.

The attribution must clearly identify WolfPack Security as the creator of the original dependency and name the relevant WPS modification.

Recommended credit format:

"Built using [WPS Mod Name] as a dependency. Original modification developed by WolfPack Security (WPS)."

A link to the original Workshop publication is encouraged.

Attribution must not suggest that WolfPack Security created, approved, maintains, or officially supports an independent third-party project unless such a relationship has been expressly established.

Providing credit does not authorize the copying, extraction, repackaging, or redistribution of protected WPS content.

5. PROTECTION OF ORIGINAL CONTENT

WolfPack Security retains its applicable intellectual property rights in its original content.

Except where expressly permitted by this license, applicable law, or a binding third-party license, the following activities are prohibited:

- Reuploading complete or partial copies of WPS modifications.
- Publishing modified versions of original WPS files.
- Extracting and incorporating WPS-owned scripts, models, textures, animations, or other protected assets into separate projects.
- Distributing repackaged or mirrored versions of WPS modifications.
- Selling or reselling WPS-owned content.
- Removing or falsifying copyright notices, author information, or license notices.
- Claiming ownership or authorship of original WPS content.
- Porting protected WPS content to other games, engines, or platforms.
- Using WPS names, branding, or logos to impersonate WolfPack Security.

Normal downloading, installation, caching, and technical copying necessary for authorized use are not prohibited by this section.

6. SERVER USAGE AND MONETIZATION

WolfPack Security modifications are made available for non-commercial use within Arma Reforger, subject to applicable Bohemia Interactive terms.

Public and private servers may use officially distributed WPS modifications without additional permission for ordinary, non-commercial gameplay.

The following activities are prohibited:

- Selling, reselling, or charging for access to WPS modifications.
- Selling access to exclusive WPS functionality, assets, or content.
- Redistributing WPS content as part of commercial packages.
- Directly or indirectly monetizing WPS-owned content without the necessary permissions.
- Using WPS content for commercial purposes outside the scope of applicable platform terms.

Voluntary donations that do not grant exclusive access to WPS content are permitted where allowed by applicable Bohemia Interactive rules.

Use of WPS modifications on monetized servers is not automatically authorized by this license. Such use requires separate written authorization from WolfPack Security and must comply with Bohemia Interactive's server monetization requirements.

Nothing in this section grants permission to sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit WPS-owned content.

7. PRIVATE MODIFICATIONS

Users may make modifications to WPS-owned content for their own private use, provided such modifications are otherwise lawful and permitted by applicable third-party licenses.

Private modifications must not be publicly uploaded, distributed, sold, or represented as official WPS releases.

This permission does not authorize the extraction or redistribution of third-party content whose license prohibits such activity.

Developers wishing to publish additional functionality should use the independent dependency-based approach described in Section 3.

8. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS AND PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS

WPS projects may depend on or incorporate third-party content, tools, frameworks, or systems.

WolfPack Security does not claim ownership of intellectual property belonging to Bohemia Interactive or other creators.

Each third-party component remains governed by its applicable license.

Nothing in WPSL grants permissions that WolfPack Security does not possess or overrides mandatory requirements imposed by applicable law, Bohemia Interactive, or third-party rights holders.

Where this license cannot lawfully restrict an activity, the applicable legal or contractual requirements prevail.

9. COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT

Users and developers must comply with the conditions applicable to the permissions granted by WPSL.

Material violations may include unauthorized redistribution, asset extraction, commercial exploitation, false ownership claims, or failure to provide required attribution for publicly distributed dependency-based add-ons.

Where legally permitted, WolfPack Security may terminate permissions granted under this license following a material violation.

Parties responsible for unauthorized distribution must cease the infringing activity and remove infringing copies from platforms, servers, or repositories under their control.

Any enforcement action remains subject to applicable law, existing agreements, and rights that cannot legally be revoked.

Community membership, Discord participation, and unrelated community disciplinary actions are not conditions of eligibility under this license.

10. SOFTWARE CONDITION AND RESPONSIBILITY

WPS modifications are provided "AS IS", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

WolfPack Security does not guarantee continuous functionality, compatibility with future game versions, compatibility with third-party modifications, or the absence of bugs and technical errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WolfPack Security shall not be liable for damages arising from the installation, operation, modification, or misuse of WPS content, including server interruptions, compatibility failures, or data loss.

Users and server operators remain responsible for their own installations, configurations, and backups.

11. LICENSE VERSIONS AND FUTURE RELEASES

WolfPack Security may publish revised versions of WPSL.

A project is governed by the license version identified in its release documentation or accompanying license file.

Future WPS projects may adopt newer versions of WPSL, while previously released projects remain subject to their applicable license terms unless a legally effective agreement provides otherwise.

A new license version does not automatically revoke previously granted irrevocable rights or change the licensing terms of third-party content.
