Credits & Special Thanks – TLL_BuildingSystem
A special thanks to NewbKodii, creator of Building System 2, for the inspiration behind TLL_BuildingSystem.
The initial inspiration came from Building System 2, particularly its structure placement preview system, which allows players to see a semi-transparent representation of a structure before placing it in the world.
This concept served as the foundation for the placement mechanics in TLL_BuildingSystem.
However, TLL_BuildingSystem has been independently developed with its own scripts, features, and additional functionality.
Further improvements, including the ability to upgrade existing structures, along with other custom building mechanics, have been designed and developed independently specifically for The Last Light project.
I want to give proper credit to NewbKodii for the original placement preview concept and acknowledge the inspiration their work provided during the development of my own building system.
Thank you, NewbKodii, for your contributions to the Arma Reforger modding community and for inspiring other modders to build upon great ideas!

TLL Building System adds survival base building to Arma Reforger, giving harvested resources a purpose as you construct and improve your shelter.
Equip the Building Manual to select and place foundations, triangle foundations, walls, doorways, cross-window walls, ceilings and staircases. A translucent placement preview helps you position each piece, with optional snapping, automatic wall alignment and adjustable foundation height.
Progress through five building tiers:
Wood
Stone
Copper
Iron
Titanium
Construction and upgrades require planks and nails, alongside bricks or metal ingots for higher tiers. Materials can be taken from your inventory or loose items within three metres of your character. Partially used nail boxes display their remaining nail count.
Process resources through crafting stations:
Repair Modification Bench: 4 Stone → 1 Brick
Furnace: 6 matching Ore → 1 Ingot
Repair Modification Bench: 10 Scrap Metal → 1 box of 20 Nails
Search supported vehicle wrecks for a chance to find Scrap Metal. Doorway pieces include functioning doors with owner-managed, four-digit PIN protection. Placed structures, upgrade tiers, ownership and door PIN settings are saved through the building persistence system.
Requires TLL_LootSystem for the harvesting tools and resources used in construction.
Work in progress: features and balance may change as development continues.
