GAMEPLAY
Neutral FIA sectors continue to operate through the original Frontline PVP defence system.
When US or USSR forces enter an eligible FIA-controlled sector, its defence is activated. OUTBREAK replaces the conventional FIA garrison with infected groups while preserving the original spawn sequence and objective lifecycle.
The sector remains defended until every zombie belonging to its activated garrison has been eliminated. Once the infected defenders are destroyed, the sector is marked as cleared and can proceed through the normal Frontline PVP capture system.
Because zombies inherit the FIA faction, they can:
Fight both US and USSR
Defend FIA-controlled sectors
Apply FIA influence
Contest ordinary territory
Participate in the existing three-faction capture logic
They cannot capture US or USSR headquarters, following the existing FIA restrictions.
GAME MASTER SETTINGS
The dedicated OUTBREAK tab provides live control over:
Enable or disable PVP OUTBREAK
Zombie groups per activated sector
Time between zombie defence waves
Zombie spawn radius
Minimum spawn distance from players
Special zombie group chance
The normal Frontline PVP settings for FIA defence frequency remain compatible. For example, the server can still defend every FIA sector, every second sector or every third sector.
CONFIGURATION
OUTBREAK creates a dedicated configuration file at:
$profile:FrontlinePvPOutbreak/ServerConfig.json
This file contains:
OUTBREAK enabled state
Special zombie group chance
Regular zombie group prefab pool
Special zombie group prefab pool
Spawn amount, interval, radius and minimum player distance remain synchronized with the corresponding Frontline PVP FIA settings and are also exposed through the dedicated OUTBREAK Game Master tab.
Disabling OUTBREAK restores the original configured FIA infantry and vehicle pools for future defence spawns. Zombie groups already alive in an active battle remain until that battle is completed or reset.
