Frontline PVE

Zombie waves operate through a completely independent spawning system. Their timers, active group limits and cleanup rules are kept separate from the normal Frontline AI director, ensuring that zombie spawns never consume USSR group slots or prevent regular enemy reinforcements.

GAMEPLAY
Zombie waves are deployed only when at least one living player is operating inside a valid Frontline combat sector.
The infected do not replace the USSR and do not participate in the USSR strategic sector logic. Instead, they act as an additional roaming threat focused on players along the frontline.
Zombie groups periodically update their objective and pursue the nearest eligible player. Depending on the faction relationships provided by the zombie addons, they may also engage other hostile forces encountered along the way.
Zombies do not apply territorial influence and cannot capture or recapture sectors.
GAME MASTER SETTINGS
The dedicated OUTBREAK tab allows Game Masters to change the following settings during the scenario:
Enable or disable OUTBREAK
Initial zombie wave delay
Zombie wave interval
Groups spawned per wave
Maximum active zombie groups
Minimum spawn distance
Maximum spawn distance
Maximum zombie group lifetime
Special zombie group chance
Debug logging
Disabling OUTBREAK removes all zombie groups currently tracked by the addon.
SERVER CONFIGURATION
A configuration file is generated automatically at:
$profile:FrontlinePVEOutbreak/ServerConfig.json
The JSON also contains editable prefab pools for regular and special zombie groups, allowing server owners to customize the infected roster without recompiling the addon.
