See your faction on the map at a glance: an orange outlined chevron marks you, green directional chevrons mark your squad, and blue dots mark other friendly players. Your name and squadmates’ names stay visible without hovering. Enemy players are never shown.
Spawn on a player squadmate through the normal deployment map and Deploy button. AI are never teammate spawn targets. By default, spawning is blocked when an enemy is within 80 metres; the server also checks teammate eligibility and the landing position before allowing a spawn.
Settings and configuration
Settings > TFU lets each player show or hide markers and choose their own marker color.
Server settings control marker availability, visible names, squad or all-friendly spawning, marker colors, and the enemy exclusion distance: 30 m, 80 m, 100 m, or Off.
Default settings work without a configuration file. Server hosts can use the included TFU_MapMarkers.json example.
