HVUS (Hybrid Vehicle Upgrade System) is an advanced vehicle maintenance and customization mod for Arma Reforger, designed to bring deeper mechanical gameplay to military, survival, and roleplay servers.
Instead of treating vehicles as disposable transportation, HVUS is designed to make every vehicle a valuable machine that requires maintenance, mechanical knowledge, specialized equipment, and the right replacement parts.

Develop your skills as a mechanic by performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and salvage operations.
Progress through five mechanic levels and specialize in different mechanical disciplines.
Realistic Mechanical Wear
HVUS is designed to simulate component deterioration based on how vehicles are used.
Driving conditions, mechanical stress, terrain, collisions, maintenance, and installed upgrades all influence vehicle reliability.
Multiplayer & Mod Compatibility
HVUS is designed with multiplayer survival communities in mind, supporting cooperative mechanics, server administration, and compatibility-focused vehicle detection.
The system is intended to support both vanilla and compatible modded vehicles, with safe fallback behavior for unsupported configurations.


Development Status
HVUS is under active development.
Features described above represent the planned complete system. Early development builds may contain only a subset of these mechanics.
Initial development focuses on vehicle inspection, diagnostics, component tracking, basic repairs, and Tier 1 engine reliability upgrades.
Future updates will expand garage construction, mechanic progression, vehicle upgrades, salvage, and multiplayer functionality.
